Events Coordinator
Million Dollar SellersA proven network of entrepreneurs with specific eCommerce knowledge, in an on-demand community.
Role Description We are hiring an Events Coordinator to own the end-to-end logistics and execution of MDS community events. Working hand in hand with the Events Director, you will be responsible for making sure every founder social, boardroom, roundtable, mastermind, and chapter or squad event runs beautifully, from the first planning document to the post-event debrief. This is an execution-first role. You are the person who makes sure hosts are briefed and prepared, venues are confirmed and ready, presentations are polished, run-of-show documents are built, and every stakeholder knows exactly what is happening and when. You manage multiple event formats across multiple cities simultaneously, coordinating the moving parts that make each one feel effortless to the founders who attend. These events are not just member perks; they are one of the most powerful tools MDS has for deepening member engagement and attracting high-quality prospective members into the community. When events run well, members stay. When events are exceptional, they bring others. That is the standard you will be held to. A representative scenario: three chapter events are running in different cities over the same two-week window. You have confirmed venues for all three, sent pre-event briefing documents to each host, collected and formatted the presentations, built run-of-show documents for each format, confirmed guest lists with the community team, and set up post-event feedback flows, all before the Events Director has had to follow up on any of it. On event day, you are reachable, everything is in order, and any last-minute issue gets solved without escalation. That’s the standard. Qualifications - 2+ years of event coordination or event management experience where you were responsible for end-to-end logistics across multiple simultaneous events—not just supporting someone else’s plan. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events and formats simultaneously with overlapping timelines, without losing detail or dropping deliverables. - Strong organizational skills and obsessive attention to detail. You build checklists, you document everything, and you do not rely on memory for anything that matters. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief hosts, write clear attendee communications, and update internal stakeholders without needing to be prompted. - Experience with project management and coordination tools (ClickUp, Airtable, Google Workspace, or equivalent) for tracking event timelines, tasks, and documents. - Proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues before they happen and has a backup plan ready. You do not surface problems without a proposed solution. - Comfortable traveling for in-person event execution and representing MDS on the ground with professionalism and care. - Self-directed in a remote-first environment with the discipline to manage a complex event calendar independently and keep stakeholders informed without being chased. Requirements - Experience coordinating private, high-end, or founder-focused events (dinners, boardrooms, masterminds, or similar formats) where attendee quality and experience standards are exceptionally high. - Background in community management, membership organizations, or ecommerce-adjacent industries so you understand the MDS audience and what makes events valuable to serious entrepreneurs. - Experience briefing and preparing non-professional event hosts —people who are great at what they do but are not event professionals and need clear, structured guidance to show up well. - Familiarity with building run-of-show documents and event briefing materials from scratch for multiple event formats. - Experience supporting a senior events lead or director in a fast-paced organization with a high volume of events. Benefits - Salary: $2,000–$3,000 USD/month depending on experience and demonstrated event coordination track record. - Bonus Opportunities: - Annual bonus pool participation, contingent on year-over-year growth in Membership Income (MI) and maintaining a 75% average in defined KPIs. Bonus accrues yearly: 50% paid at year-end, remainder paid mid-year following. - Team member referral bonus: $750 to $2,500 for successful hires referred, contingent on both parties remaining employed at least six months. - Spot bonuses awarded at the executive team’s discretion for exceptional performance or a standout event execution result. - Global Work Flexibility: Our ‘office’ is wherever you are—work from home, a café, or while traveling, as long as you’re aligned with Eastern Time for core hours. - Outcome-Driven Work Culture: We prioritize results over rigid schedules. Manage your day your way, focusing on outcomes, not hours. - Autonomous Time Management: We trust you to balance work and personal life. We do not track time off; we take company-wide breaks at major holidays and have a monthly Friday off. - Elite Networking Opportunities: Engage with over 700 leading e-commerce entrepreneurs at the events you coordinate. These are not just work events—they are genuine opportunities to build relationships with some of the most successful founders in the world. - Exclusive Event Access: Attend and represent MDS at exclusive, high-profile events around the world. These are gateways to new experiences, cultures, and a global professional network. - Dynamic Community of Innovators: Work inside a world-class e-commerce community and build relationships with a driven, talented team. - Continuous Professional Development: Grow your event coordination and community-building skills within a fast-evolving organization that runs nearly 100 events per year. - Impactful Work: The events you coordinate directly shape whether members feel the MDS community is worth their time and investment—and whether prospective members decide to apply. That’s a real and meaningful responsibility.

Business Development Lead
Million Dollar SellersA proven network of entrepreneurs with specific eCommerce knowledge, in an on-demand community.
• Prospecting & New Business Development: Actively source and identify qualified prospects through events, social outreach, referrals, and your existing network in the ecommerce space, Amazon sellers, DTC, Shopify operators, TikTok Shop brands, and adjacent founders who meet the MDS criteria. • Run outbound campaigns and personalized outreach to engage high-potential founders who haven’t yet heard of MDS or haven’t applied, moving them from awareness to conversation. • Work collaboratively with our Head of Membership Growth Manager on shared pipeline, prospect intel, and outreach strategy, coordinating so the team is covering the right people without overlap. • Bring new segments and opportunities to the team’s attention when you spot a pocket of high-quality founders worth pursuing. You contribute ideas, not just execution. • Own your discovery calls end to end from booking through close. You qualify, you present the value of MDS authentically, you handle objections, and you guide the right founders through the application. • Hold real conversations, not scripted pitches. MDS members are accomplished founders who will see through a canned approach immediately. You ask good questions, listen well, and assess fit honestly. • Maintain a consistent call volume that supports hitting your monthly targets. You manage your own time and pipeline to ensure you always have enough qualified conversations in motion. • Follow up persistently and personally with prospects who are interested but not yet ready. You don’t let warm leads go cold because of poor follow-through. • Represent MDS at industry events and tradeshows (Amazon Accelerate, Prosper Show, SellerCon, ShipBob Summit, and similar) as a relationship-builder and pipeline generator. • Convert in-person conversations to pipeline entries with same-day GHL logging and a follow-up action in place for every qualified contact before you leave the event floor. • Attend MDS events as a participant and connector building relationships with current members and identifying referral opportunities from within the community. • Flag events worth attending that aren’t yet on the team’s radar based on what you’re seeing in the market. You are a source of field intelligence, not just a field executor. • Maintain your own pipeline in Go High Level with clean data, accurate stages, and timely follow-ups. The team should be able to look at your pipeline at any moment and know exactly where things stand. • Execute multi-channel follow-up sequences (email, SMS, personal outreach) that keep qualified founders engaged without being pushy or generic. • Track your own conversion metrics at every stage, call-to-application rate, time to close, win/loss reasons, and use that data to sharpen your own approach over time. • Build a visible presence in the ecommerce founder ecosystem through social content, event attendance, and genuine relationship-building so that qualified founders know who you are before you ever reach out. • Collaborate with marketing when relevant on content or campaigns that generate awareness among target founder segments. You contribute your perspective; they handle execution. • Bring founder insights back to the team from your calls and events, what objections are coming up, what founders care about, what’s changing in the market. You are a front-line source of intelligence.
