Role Description Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is seeking a Development Specialist to join our team. While this is a remote, work-from-home role, candidates must reside in Fort Myers (Florida) in order to build relationships and attend local events. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone eager to grow in fundraising and nonprofit development. We’re looking for a motivated self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills, and at least some experience or knowledge in fundraising, event planning, or donor relations. The right candidate will be mentored and supported to expand their skills while making a real difference in their community. Role Description The Salesforce Administrator/ Developer will support and enhance MADD’s Salesforce platform, which connects fundraising, engagement, and operational systems. The role combines administration, configuration, and light development to maintain data integrity, streamline workflows, and automate processes. You’ll work closely with IT Strategy, Web Engineering, and Marketing teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable, automated solutions that reduce manual work and prevent support backlogs. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys collaborative problem-solving and has experience working in or supporting a nonprofit environment. A customer-focused mindset, clear communication, and friendly, service-oriented demeanor are essential. This is a remote position with a salary of $85,000. Organize and implement all aspects and technical portions of core and supplemental underage drinking and drunk driving prevention programs for targeted populations at the State and Local level. We are seeking someone who also has some experience in non-profit fundraising, as this may become an additional focus of the role as it evolves This is a remote position that does require the selected candidate to reside in the northern area of the state of Illinois. The salary for this position is $45,000 annually RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensure that goals and objectives as designated by MADD management and/or the grantor are achieved by developing and designing events targeted to accomplish specific objectives and providing marketing and outreach of the program to community agencies. Mothers Against Drunk Driving is looking for a compassionate, solution-oriented, adaptable, energetic, and motivated candidate to work with victims and survivors of impaired driving for MADD fundraising events and provide education to the community on the impacts of impaired driving, network building and working with law enforcement. This is a remote position with the selected candidate residing in the state of Indiana. The salary for this position is $50,000. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Supervise staff that will present to local coalitions, schools, agencies, etc. regarding MADD's Power of Me, Power of Youth, Power of Parents and more. - Supervise staff that provide a statewide Victim Services Support program. - Participate in and provide support in all fundraising initiatives and volunteer capacity building for MADD programs. As a Court Monitor, you will maintain a consistent courtroom presence for misdemeanor DWI cases, review court records, collect and report accurate data, and assist in identifying potential obstacles in court sentencing and DWI prosecution. Responsible for building volunteer capacity through the planning, coordination and implementation of MADD’s Driven to Save Lives volunteer program at the State and Local level. Work with staff and volunteers, providing direction and coordination for all volunteer functions. Develop community relationships to promote volunteer opportunities within MADD. While this is a remote, work from home position, the selected candidate must reside in the state of Michigan. The salary for this position is $45,000. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - With staff input, regularly conduct mission specific needs assessments in support of the various areas of operations including but not limited to - victim services, programs and fundraising events/walk events. - Develop strategies for growing the volunteer base in conjunction with State, Affiliate and Chapter overall goals and objectives. - Foster community support for volunteer opportunities. Identify community outreach resources such as fairs, events, organizations, key individuals etc. to recruit potential volunteers. - Recruit, screen, interview and select volunteers. Utilizing the volunteer program job descriptions, match the skills, experiences and expectations of volunteers to the appropriate job. Complete all relevant background checks per MADD policies. - Plan, schedule and conduct new volunteer orientation and training. Provide appropriate tools (job descriptions, handbooks, manuals etc.) and ensure volunteers understand MADD’s policies and procedures. - Schedule and coordinate attendance of volunteers at various MADD trainings, educational programs and events. Work with volunteers to create volunteer–led events and mission related programs and services. - Provide guidance, training and support to staff working with volunteers. - Develop and facilitate effective working relationships between staff and volunteers. - Take a leadership role to monitor, evaluate and document individual volunteer performance. - Resolve conflicts and effectively address volunteer and staff concerns. - Maintain volunteer records & schedules and collect, input and report data on all volunteers, their activities and contributions. - Monitor the program and evaluate impact and recommend revisions in relation to goals and objectives. - Work with national and/or local staff/volunteer leaders to effectively engage volunteers to meet program goals and objectives. - Plan and implement volunteer recognition programs. - Conduct volunteer feedback meetings. - Nurture volunteers to improve their connection to the organization, working collaboratively to increase volunteer satisfaction and commitment. - Provide consistent and open communication between volunteers and staff. - Ensure supervisor/local management is kept abreast of all activities that involve the volunteer program.
