• Own the end-to-end build of internal AI tools and automations: requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, design, implementation, deployment, and iteration. • Translate ambiguity into product — distill a team's needs into a coherent plan and present it back to stakeholders in a way that gets buy-in. • Build on a shared substrate — contribute to the common TypeScript layer that internal AI tools at LI.FI are built on, so your work compounds with everyone else's. • Close collaboration with business teams — sit with BD, ops, legal, HR, finance, marketing, or customer service to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and opportunities for AI leverage. • Think holistically — over time, help shape LI.FI's overall internal AI strategy rather than shipping isolated one-off automations. • Work cross-functionally — collaborate with shared resources such as DevOps and Security through our standard prioritization workflow.

• Own Checkout-specific backend capabilities that power funding flows end to end, including provider integrations, quotes, sessions, statuses, deposit addresses, and recovery • Design and build integration patterns for external providers (onramp, exchange, payment), normalising provider-specific behaviour into a consistent Checkout experience • Define and maintain the backend contracts between Checkout UI, provider systems, and LI.FI's execution infrastructure, including robust state handling across long-running and failure-prone flows • Drive cross-functional technical discovery when Checkout depends on Core backend, Partner Portal, or other adjacent teams, ensuring architectural alignment without drift • Implement frontend work where useful, particularly when UI states and backend contracts need to be designed together

• Draft, review, and negotiate the full range of LI.FI's commercial agreements, including API integration agreements, master service (level) agreements, partnership agreements, and term sheets • Review and negotiate vendor and service provider contracts on the procurement side • Manage contract lifecycle from intake through execution, amendment, and renewal, maintaining version control and ensuring executed agreements are properly filed and tracked • Act as the primary legal interface for integration partners and enterprise customers during negotiations, handling multi-round redlines, organising calls with counterparty counsel, and driving deals to close • Work closely with the business development team as the primary legal partner on commercial matters, providing real-time guidance on contractual risk, commercial structuring, and partner onboarding • Assess and allocate risk in commercial terms, including liability caps, indemnification structures, limitation of liability, warranty disclaimers, and governing law/dispute resolution provisions • Develop and maintain LI.FI's standard commercial templates, playbooks, and intake workflows; identify patterns across negotiations, feed improvements back into template language, and build scalable processes • Review and markup counterparty paper and provide clear, commercially pragmatic recommendations to the GC on escalated risk positions • Support regulatory-adjacent commercial work, including the contractual implementation of compliance requirements imposed by regulated integration partners (e.g. vendor due diligence questionnaires, AML representations, regulatory status confirmations) • Coordinate with external counsel on jurisdiction-specific questions that arise during negotiations, particularly on governing law, enforceability, and local regulatory requirements

• Execute payment runs every 3–4 days across bank accounts, Moss, Request Finance, and all crypto invoices — both off-chain and on-chain • Ensure outgoing payment transactions run smoothly and that receipts are collected and reconciled properly • Monitor adherence to internal control processes for every payment cycle • Review, edit, and approve all items entering Moss before they go to the external accountant • Manage the billing mailbox, ensuring every document is captured, routed, and coded correctly • Act as the last line of defence on data accuracy - if something's off, you'll catch it • Manage accurate general ledger accounts and financial statements for entities under German, BVI, and Cayman Islands jurisdictions • Oversee monthly and annual financial closings including reconciliations, postings, and coordination with external service providers for crypto and fiat transactions • Manage intercompany accounting processes, including transfer pricing documentation and compliance • Ensure adherence to HGB and IFRS accounting standards and support international regulatory and tax compliance • Work with Moss to further automate accounting workflows and reduce manual effort • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies; prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders • Support and develop a junior team member - reviewing their work, building their skills, and holding the team's output to a high standard

• Manage top-tier accounts, run high-quality check-ins (QBRs, reviews), and align business goals with technical outcomes. • Help partners design, build, test, and launch integrations. Troubleshoot APIs/SDKs/widgets and escalate with clear documentation when needed. • Track logs, metrics, and errors to catch issues early. Maintain integration health (errors, versioning, limits, env mismatches) and support incident comms. • Collect and structure partner requests, inform internal prioritization (without overpromising), and keep partners updated. • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Support to unblock issues and improve docs, tooling, and internal knowledge.

• Design and implement robust testing strategies for REST APIs and backend services, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across integrations • Create automation test suites to cover our different endpoints • Collaborate with our existing QA team to uphold and evolve our testing standards • Ensure high-quality standards for software solutions and newly added features • Manage and track known bugs to resolution • Identify and communicate product issues, proposing solutions to improve the overall experience • Collaborate with the development team to ensure quality assurance procedures are consistently followed • Work closely with product and tech lead to bring a shift-left approach to the team • Draft and maintain clear and comprehensive testing documentation

• Own and strengthen company-wide security and compliance • Lead security efforts across infrastructure, applications, internal systems, and employee devices • Identify risks and vulnerabilities across the organisation and ensure they are addressed • Establish scalable security processes and best practices across teams • Own the organisation's compliance posture - define target frameworks, drive progress against them, and ensure requirements are reflected in day-to-day operations • Coordinate audits and external security work • Own relationships with external security firms and auditors • Lead the organisation through compliance framework certifications end-to-end • Plan and run security reviews and external audits, ensuring findings are tracked and resolved • Act as the internal authority on external security requirements and regulatory expectations • Build security awareness across the company • Define and own the company's security awareness and training programme • Drive application security • Own the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (Secure SDLC) across the engineering organisation • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure secure design and implementation of products — getting into the detail where needed • Personally review tools, frameworks, and architectures for security risks and ensure findings drive action • Own Web3 security • Bring a solid understanding of Web3-specific security risks — smart contract vulnerabilities, protocol exploits, wallet and key management, and on-chain threat vectors • Own AI Security • Identify and mitigate security risks related to AI-driven tooling, agents, and automation • Implement security tooling and automation • Own the security tooling strategy — defining requirements, evaluating solutions, and driving implementation • Establish monitoring standards, incident response processes, and security workflows • Ensure security is consistently embedded in engineering pipelines and tooling

• Extend LI.FI’s API stack to include Hyperliquid ecosystem projects and feature sets • Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript • Work with MongoDB, Redis, and MySQL to support high-throughput, low-latency trading workflows • Collaborate closely with the Expansion PM and other backend engineers to improve integrations, routing, and user flows, and help evaluate new opportunities for feature expansion • Ensure robust, high-quality backend code with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability for same-chain and cross-chain trading • Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and technical documentation

• Lead the technical direction and implementation of the central off-chain coordination system for our next-generation architecture. • Design, implement, and maintain the highly available, low-latency APIs required for seamless application interaction, quote management, and system-wide status retrieval using Node.js/TypeScript and the NestJS framework. • Develop advanced and rigorous validation mechanisms to ensure data integrity and prevent fraudulent activity within the system. • Build and optimize the infrastructure for immediate, real-time broadcasting of critical, validated data to all participating external liquidity providers and execution partners. • Integrate with specialized data indexing services to reliably monitor and track the multi-phase lifecycle of core system objects across distributed environments. • Implement advanced logic for data aggregation, caching, and mechanisms for partner reputation and selection to ensure the best possible user experience. • Proactively identify and resolve potential security vulnerabilities in the off-chain coordination flow to maintain the trustless nature of the overall system. • Work closely with the core Smart Contract and Product teams, and ensure comprehensive documentation for the backend architecture and APIs.
