• Implement FPGA logic for DSP, RF data movement, sensor interfaces, control paths, and high-speed streaming or packetized data systems. • Develop RTL in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog and support simulation, synthesis, implementation, and timing closure. • Build and debug AXI, AXI-Stream, FIFO, register, interrupt, clocking, reset, CDC, and DMA-facing interfaces under technical guidance. • Support integration of ADC/DAC, JESD204, Ethernet, PCIe-facing, transceiver, or other high-speed interfaces as project needs require. • Create and maintain software-friendly register maps, control/status interfaces, debug hooks, test modes, and bring-up notes. • Collaborate with embedded software engineers on register access, interrupts, data formats, buffer behavior, throughput, and latency goals. • Collaborate with electrical engineers during board bring-up, signal validation, clock/reset debug, and hardware troubleshooting. • Use FPGA debug tools such as ILA, SignalTap, timing reports, simulations, and lab equipment to isolate and solve issues. • Support rapid prototypes, bench tests, field demonstrations, and iterative design updates in a fast-moving R&D environment. • Document design intent, interfaces, constraints, test results, and known limitations clearly enough for team reuse.

• Design, build, and operate scalable ML and data pipelines for spatial-temporal and sensor-driven datasets. • Operationalize data science algorithms into reliable, distributed ML workflows covering feature extraction, training, evaluation, inference, and model lifecycle management. • Implement and maintain containerized ML workloads in cloud-native environments. • Integrate model outputs into downstream serving systems and analytical platforms to support web-based applications and operational decision-making. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML and data services. • Collaborate closely with data scientists to operationalize experimental models into reproducible, observable, and scalable production systems. • Take ownership of MLOps practices within an applied research team, bringing structure, repeatability, and best practices to evolving environments.

• Administer and manage contracts and subcontracts throughout the full lifecycle, from proposal development through closeout • Develop, issue, and manage RFP packages and evaluate proposals for compliance, pricing, and contractual requirements • Perform price analysis and develop negotiation strategies; negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, and required contract flow-downs • Execute contracts, subcontracts, and modifications in accordance with FAR/DFAR regulations and company policies • Perform post-award administration, including managing modifications, monitoring deliverables and milestones, facilitating invoicing, and supporting contract closeout activities • Monitor subcontractor performance against statements of work, schedules, and funding requirements • Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and internal requirements beyond FAR/DFAR, including documentation standards and record retention • Identify contractual, financial, and performance risks and recommend or implement appropriate mitigation strategies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including program management, finance, engineering, and legal • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal stakeholders, customers, and subcontractors

• Design, develop, and maintain software for SDR and RF systems, including real-time signal acquisition and processing pipelines. • Implement and optimize DSP algorithms (e.g., filtering, detection, estimation, spectral analysis, synchronization) for embedded and low-latency environments. • Develop firmware for microcontrollers and embedded processors, including peripheral drivers and communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, etc.). • Design and implement sensor fusion and state estimation algorithms for multi-sensor systems operating in real time. • Collaborate closely with hardware and FPGA engineers to define system interfaces, partition functionality across hardware/software boundaries, and optimize overall system performance. • Support integration and testing of SDR platforms, including I/Q data handling and streaming architectures. • Contribute to architectural decisions that bridge traditional DSP and controls-based methods with emerging ML-enabled approaches. • Perform profiling, debugging, and performance optimization of embedded systems to ensure deterministic, reliable operation. • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and collaborative problem solving. • Document system design, interfaces, and technical decisions for internal stakeholders.

• Design and build scalable geospatial data pipelines from curated data. • Develop and operationalize spatial-temporal analytics, including movement characterization, clustering, and advanced spatial transformations. • Translate complex geospatial workflows into reliable, low-latency APIs that power web-based analytical tools. • Build and maintain interactive, map-based applications for analysts exploring sensor-derived, spatial-temporal data. • Deploy and operate services in a cloud-native environment using containerized infrastructure. • Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to operationalize advanced analytics into robust systems. • Take ownership of features from backend ingestion through to front-end visualization in an applied research environment.

• Serve in a part-time, non-exempt capacity, working approximately 20 hours per week • Process biweekly multi-state and multi-country payroll runs in designated payroll system(s) • Verify wage and overtime payments; calculate and record payroll deductions • Process paycheck advances, bonus runs, commissions, fringe benefit reporting, and separation payments • Review timesheets and time off requests; resolve discrepancies • Ensure tax setups remain compliant and updated based on employee changes • Conduct monthly and quarterly audits (401(k), benefits, payroll, etc.) • Communicate with various departments to streamline payroll information collection • Implement process improvements and technologies to enhance payroll efficiency • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and related requests • Coordinate onboarding for new employees • Assign electronic checklists, tasks, and training modules • Complete employment verifications • Track and maintain employee demographic, retention, and attrition data • Support system conversions and payroll-related implementations • Utilize systems including, but not limited to, ADP, Paychex, Unanet, and BambooHR

• Serve as the PMO lead for assigned research and development projects, including DoD-funded and other government-funded efforts such as SBIR, STTR, and other strategically important initiatives. • Manage multiple concurrent projects that may be unrelated in scope but require coordinated execution due to shared organizational resources. • Drive day-to-day project execution through cross-functional teams composed of resources from other business units, ensuring work progresses in alignment with approved scope, schedule, and cost baselines. • Translate project objectives, contractual requirements, and baseline plans into coordinated workstreams, actionable priorities, and clear team accountabilities. • Lead projects through all phases of the lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring and control, and closeout. • Coordinate with functional managers and business unit leaders to secure resources, align priorities, and ensure timely completion of project deliverables. • Actively identify execution gaps, remove barriers, resolve cross-functional issues, and escalate decisions as needed to keep projects moving forward. • Manage and control project scope, schedule, and cost performance against approved baselines. • Establish and maintain formal project management plans, including work breakdown structures, integrated schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, and performance reporting. • Monitor execution against plan using earned value management, cost controls, and other project performance measures; identify variances, assess impacts, and drive corrective actions with contributing teams and stakeholders. • Prepare and maintain accurate forecasts for cost, schedule, resource demand, and project completion. • Partner with Finance, Contracts, business unit leaders, and technical teams to support financial planning, funding alignment, cost tracking, invoicing, and reporting. • Oversee subcontractor and partner performance from a project management perspective, including deliverable tracking, schedule adherence, invoice review, and issue resolution. • Ensure procurement and subcontractor activities are aligned with project requirements, contractual obligations, and company policies. • Lead formal change control processes to evaluate, document, approve, and communicate changes to scope, schedule, budget, or resources. • Maintain accurate project data, status, risks, issues, assumptions, actions, and decisions in required systems and dashboards. • Lead recurring project and management reviews to provide leadership visibility, support decision-making, and drive accountability for execution. • Develop and maintain executive-level visualizations, dashboards, and reporting that provide clear insight into project status, schedule performance, cost performance, risks, forecasts, and key decisions.

• Configure and maintain Jira and Jira Service Management components that support PMO processes, including workflows, screens, fields, request types, forms, and related settings. • Manage PMO service request tracking within Jira Service Management to ensure requests are properly captured, assigned, monitored, and resolved. • Support onboarding of new Jira users, including user setup coordination, access support, and orientation to PMO Jira processes and service requests. • Assist users with Jira and Jira Service Management questions related to PMO workflows, fields, screens, and service request processes. • Maintain Jira and Jira Service Management documentation and support continuous improvement of configurations and workflows to improve PMO efficiency and usability. • Provide administrative and clerical support to the PMO as assigned. • Support PMO documentation, records management, meeting coordination, scheduling, and follow-up activities. • Maintain organized PMO files, templates, logs, trackers, and related administrative records. • Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, dashboards, and other PMO documentation. • Capture meeting notes, action items, and status updates, and support follow-up to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. • Support PMO processes by tracking assignments, requests, and administrative actions to completion. • Maintain accurate data in PMO systems and trackers to support reporting, visibility, and day-to-day operations. • Monitor PMO support requests and provide status updates to stakeholders as needed. • Escalate issues, delays, system problems, or process gaps to PMO leadership as appropriate. • Contribute to consistent use of PMO templates, workflows, administrative procedures, and service processes.

• Apply user-centered design (UCD) principles to develop intuitive workflows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs across web, mobile, and mission-system interfaces. • Leverage AI-powered design tools and workflows to accelerate prototyping, generate design variations, and improve efficiency across the design lifecycle; stay current on emerging AI capabilities and integrate them into day-to-day work. • Create dynamic, functional prototypes using tools such as Figma, Axure, or Adobe Aero to visualize and test interface concepts at varying fidelities. • Use and contribute to Knowmadics’ design system and component library, ensuring visual consistency across products and platforms. • Design across a range of interface paradigms including traditional web and mobile UIs, data visualization dashboards, and emerging interface concepts as program needs evolve. • Participate in and support user research activities including heuristic evaluations, field observations, and structured interviews with end users and subject matter experts. • Participate in and support discussions with users and stakeholders to gather feedback on UI/UX concepts and prototypes and synthesize insights to inform iterative design improvements. • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to translate user and business needs into clear design solutions. • Present design concepts, rationale, and findings to internal teams and external stakeholders in a clear and professional manner. • Work across multiple products and programs, supporting the 360 Aware platform or Applied Research efforts based on team priorities. • Adapt quickly to different product contexts, levels of maturity, and problem spaces. • Coordinate design tasks by preparing clear design briefs and annotated assets to enable effective handoffs, and provide structured feedback to ensure alignment across contributors. • Maintain organized shared assets and documentation in Figma and Confluence to support distributed collaboration. • Support applied R&D program deliverables as needed, including prototypes, demonstrations, and customer-facing materials. • Work iteratively with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency during implementation. • Contribute to Jira task tracking and participate in agile workflows across assigned programs. • Identify opportunities to document or publish design findings when relevant to program goals.

• Work with our team of engineers, scientists and human factors professionals to develop machine learning and other algorithm data capabilities for cybersecurity, space, and telecommunications. • This individual contributor role will involve hands-on work collecting data, developing solutions to real-world problems using machine learning. • Developed solutions are actively being productionized to support ongoing cybersecurity initiatives and other crucial infrastructure and security needs. • Collaboratively develop data collection processes designing experiments to ensure quality and usefulness of data. • Develop and evaluate machine learning solutions to interdisciplinary problems in cybersecurity and telecommunications, working with structured (time-series, tabular) and unstructured (text, 3D) data. • Work with human factors specialists, and data/full stack engineers to define system requirements, review developed code, and support translating statistical concepts to coworkers. • Support documentation of analysis results for semi-technical stakeholders. • Occasionally support technical interactions like collaboration, including defining technical requirements for external data collections, and reviewing technical work.
