DevSecOps needed. SRE? Platform Engineer? Whatever you call it, we need you. About JTX JTX is Jito Labs' consumer trading product — a high-performance trading terminal built on Solana. We're a lean, high-output team building something that sits at the intersection of execution quality, user experience, and on-chain infrastructure. We own a meaningful portion of Solana's block production, and JTX is how we bring that edge directly to traders. The Role This is a high-ownership IC role. The stack is designed. Now it needs someone who can own it, harden it, automate it, and make sure it stays up while traders are trading. You will be running globally distributed infra and you'll be the person who cares most about it (this is an extremely high ownership role). You'll work directly with engineering leadership. No ticketing system standing between you and a decision. If something is broken, it's your problem. If something can be automated, you'll automate it. If something is insecure, you'll fix it before anyone notices. Get shit done!
• Own and execute software upgrades and releases across Jito infrastructure, including testnet upgrades, mainnet canaries, staged rollouts, and patches. • Own the operational release checklist from preflight validation through deployment, monitoring, rollback readiness, and post-release follow-up. • Keep release playbooks, runbooks, deployment checklists, and rollback procedures accurate and usable. • Coordinate version/config consistency across environments, services, and repositories. • Monitor releases in real time using dashboards, logs, alerts, and service-level health checks. • Contribute to incremental CI/CD, automation, and tooling improvements.
• Own end-to-end recruiting across a wide range of roles • Partner with founders and functional leaders to define hiring strategy, org design, and headcount planning • Build high-quality pipelines for both niche technical roles and business-critical positions • Develop creative sourcing strategies to engage passive, high-caliber candidates across multiple disciplines • Act as a trusted advisor on talent market dynamics, leveling, and compensation • Drive a best-in-class candidate experience—from first touch through close • Establish scalable recruiting processes, tools, and best practice
• Identity and access management - provisioning, lifecycle operations, and monitoring for critical changes • Security reviews across our product portfolio - threat modeling, code review, fuzzing, and functional testing • Day-to-day bug bounty operations - triage, remediation tracking, and escalation of high-severity findings • AI security research and tooling - adversarial testing frameworks for agent controls, with a focus on reusable patterns • Software supply chain monitoring - malicious package detection beyond standard CVE scanning • External penetration test coordination - scoping, logistics, and post-engagement remediation tracking • Compliance documentation and evidence gathering as requirements emerge
• Design and build core systems for our new product from scratch • Build low-latency, high-reliability services that interact directly with Solana's transaction and block building pipeline • Own critical infrastructure: order routing, execution, real-time market data, and position management • Implement security at every layer, from transaction signing to user data protection • Work closely with the product and infrastructure teams to ship fast and iterate based on real user feedback • Make significant architectural decisions as an early member of the team
• Architect Solana programs using Solana native and Anchor programming models • Build safe, secure, and performant code • Write public-facing test plans and documentation for the code you’ve produced • Build substantial testing infrastructure to ensure code is following a defined specification • Collaborate with the team and customers to leverage internal knowledge and tooling • Drive features and products from beginning to end with extreme ownership • Comfortably dive deep into performance bottlenecks and debug problems across the entire stack
• Own product vision and roadmap for mobile, from concept through launch • Drive rapid iteration cycles. Ship, measure, learn, repeat • Lead user research to validate what we’re building • Establish product metrics and instrumentation to guide decisions • Make hard calls on prioritization, scope, and tradeoffs to maintain velocity • Coordinate go-to-market with marketing and growth teams • Contribute to company strategy as part of the leadership team
• Debug and optimize network performance end-to-end: NIC tuning, congestion control, packet pacing, queueing disciplines • Analyze traffic using tcpdump, Wireshark, and custom tooling; reason about protocol behavior under load • Work with protocols beyond TCP/UDP when required (e.g., ICMP, IGMP, multicast) • Experience with high-performance I/O and kernel-bypass techniques such as DPDK, XDP, io_uring, or similar • Read and reason about Linux kernel source when debugging requires it • Understand networking stack internals (socket buffers, congestion control, netfilter, scheduling interactions) • Build bespoke tooling when existing observability is insufficient • Work fluently with kernel interfaces used by performance-sensitive systems • Use hardware performance counters, perf, eBPF, and flamegraphs to locate real bottlenecks • Reason about practical CPU behavior: cacheline contention, branch misprediction, NUMA effects, memory ordering • Understand IRQ affinity, scheduling behavior, paging, and TLB effects under real workloads • Strong low-level systems programming background • We work primarily in Rust, but strong experience in C or C++ is equally relevant • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and writing correct concurrent code • Contribute to infrastructure, tooling, and occasionally upstream projects
• Create, modify, and maintain new libraries across a variety of languages for interfacing with Jito Labs products and APIs • Keep documentation up to date with evolving products and customer questions across MEV, validators, and other involved parties • Serve as a technical expert in MEV, Solana, and Jito Labs systems • Building demo applications leveraging Jito Labs MEV infrastructure • Summarize and triage customer issues and challenges to help enhance Jito’s product offerings • Use the product and understand issues intimately from a customer perspective
