What you will be doing: The Senior Manager of Category Strategy & Insights owns the company's Amazon category intelligence capability, shaping category strategy through advanced analytics and data-driven insights. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or Quantitative Field (Computer Science, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, etc.,). - Prior experience working directly with Amazon, either at Amazon or in a vendor, seller, or agency-based role. - 5+ years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), eCommerce, or omnichannel retail, with direct exposure to Amazon category dynamics. - 5+ years of experience in a combination of Category Management, Analytics, Strategy, or Sales with demonstrated experience leading analytical-driven category or growth initiatives. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. - Experience working with Amazon data, performance metrics, and platform-level reporting. - Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and executive‑ready storytelling. - Hands-on experience with Amazon platforms and tools, including Vendor/Seller Central, Brand Analytics. - Experience with eCommerce data and digital shelf tools such as Profitero/Stackline/Edge or equivalent. - Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Requests system changes from IT to make the AR Specialists’ jobs more efficient. - Serves as the main IT liaison for the Helen of Troy Credit Department in the United States, Canada, and Mexico for all requests, fixes, corrections, or changes. - Independently plans and organizes work based on defined objectives set by Supervisor, referring only unusual cases to Supervisor for guidance. - Retrieves identifying and validating information on all customer claims. Matches customer debit memos with the incoming claims and then appropriately codes based on the description noted on the claim. - Ensure proper follow-up with the Customer Service Department, IT Department, Distribution Centers, Sales Field Personnel, Sales Representatives, Freight Carriers, and customers. Processes valid claims for crediting and pursuing invalid deductions for repayment. - Provides the customer with documentation to help them verify and validate their open balances with Helen of Troy, in addition to electronic statements that are sent monthly. - Communicates any exception type issues: old claims, slow paying customers, bankruptcies, repayment concerns, etc. with the Sales Field personnel, which include Sales Representatives, Sales Managers, Sales Directors, and Sales Vice Presidents. Perform according to outlined specifications. - Provides information such as open aging reports, invoice copies, Bills of Ladings, proofs of delivery, and credit memos. - Reconcile accounts by reviewing aging reports for matching invoices, credit memos, payments, debit memos, etc. - Maintains a clean status of accounts receivable for the company. - Works in conjunction with the Customer Service or Sales Departments for the creation of extraordinary account receivable items, billings/credit memos to correct the account receivable for any errors in those departments, or in the field. Manages and creates new product development briefs that address consumer needs and ensure product experience and uniqueness are delivered upon, with the alignment of marketing on key ingredients, features, and benefits. - Oversee the daily functions of product development, sourcing raw materials, working directly with contract manufacturers and internal partners (sourcing, liquid technology, regulatory). - Review and evaluate submissions and advise on redirects providing specific directions to CM's. Support the program Manager in ensuring all timing are correct and line with business expectation, manages pilot, and production to ensure product meets all requirements and is consistent throughout scaleup for final approvals and signoff's, managing and closely monitoring the schedule of manufacturing to ensure batching and fill date stay on track. - Support development of go-to-market materials, including product claims testing, ingredient stories, usage instructions, and educational content to ensure clear, accurate, and compelling consumer communication. - Has the ability to problem solve, assess, and remove roadblocks based on any delays and challenges to ensure timely receipt of finished good approval, release, and shipping process. - Oversee the daily functions of packaging development from brief and sizing based off competitive analysis that meet the pricing target, timing, and delivery functionality. - Work with outside vendors, tracking on-time launches, signs off on specs. - Manage multiple product development projects and milestones at once. - Manage and aligns on claim substantiation plan with Product Marketing and R&D/regulatory/legal. - Work closely in collaboration across cross-functional teams (creative, sales, product marketing, brand, sourcing, operations, quality, R&D, packaging and regulatory) to execute product launch strategies to ensure on-time, successful and qualitative launches. - Focus on tracking the key product development milestones with updates that effect the entire timeline, elevating delays, identifies challenges, and proposes solutions. Responsible for communicating the key milestone updates as needed if/when dates change/shift.
