Merchandising Operations Manager
Grove Collaborative🏡 Transforming the products you use at home into a force for good. 💚 Moving Beyond Plastic: 100% plastic-free by 2025
• Map how merchandising actually works today, not how the org chart says it works. • Redesign core operating processes for speed, accuracy, and margin protection: assortment planning, item setup, pricing and markdown, vendor and PO management, allocation, replenishment. • Own the calendar connecting marketing activations to inventory, so launches are stock-backed, not a surprise to the warehouse. • Translate activation plans into buy, allocation, and replenishment signals; flag stock risk before launch, not after. • Coordinate vendor commitments tied to activations: fill rates, lead times, launch quantities. • Build self-service tools and proactive alerts that scale the buyer-vendor relationship, including visibility into vendor performance. • Build the automation yourself, using Claude and comparable AI tools, no/low-code platforms, and lightweight automation, from concept through rollout. • Run pilots end to end: scope, build, test for accuracy, validate fit, scale. Keep humans in the loop on margin- and inventory-critical decisions. • Maintain a registry of approved tools and active automations, so what exists and what it's for is never a mystery. • Own change management for every rollout: training, AI literacy for non-technical audiences, office hours, a bench of power users. • Build reporting on process and automation performance, and use it to prioritize what gets built next.
Senior Operations Manager, Fulfillment

• Own building safety performance — incident rates, near-miss reporting, audit compliance — as the foundation everything else is built on, not an afterthought to throughput. • Own the labor budget, labor cost targets, and cost-per-unit performance, and manage OT and labor spend against plan. • Develop your Inbound and Outbound Supervisors into leaders who can run their shifts without you in the building. • Find the systemic issue behind the recurring problem, and fix that instead of firefighting the same thing every week. • Hold the floor steady through peak volume and disruption, instead of white-knuckling through it. • Partner with Safety, Quality, Loss Prevention, Finance, and People so the building's numbers and its culture move in the same direction.
Chief Financial Officer
Grove Collaborative🏡 Transforming the products you use at home into a force for good. 💚 Moving Beyond Plastic: 100% plastic-free by 2025
• Be a real partner to our CEO. A thought partner. Tell him the truth before it’s comfortable, and help him decide where to bet and where to stop. • Own the equity story and re-rate the company. Run earnings calls, investor relations, guidance, and the capital structure, and make sophisticated people see the upside we see. • Find the money. Free up every dollar that isn’t earning its place, and point it at what matters. • Get the flywheel. Live and breathe DTC economics, customer cohorts, paybacks, contribution margin, and retention, and help us pour fuel on what’s working. • Steward the balance sheet. Keep us liquid, keep our lenders close, and keep us strong enough to play offense. • Build AI-first. We don’t want a bigger finance team. We want a sharper, faster, more automated one.

AI-First iOS Engineer
Grove Collaborative🏡 Transforming the products you use at home into a force for good. 💚 Moving Beyond Plastic: 100% plastic-free by 2025
• Direct multiple AI coding agents in parallel to design, build, test, and ship iOS features in Swift, UIKit, and (increasingly) SwiftUI. • Take total ownership of a slice of the iOS app — discovery, scoping, architecture, implementation, QA, release, monitoring, and iteration. • Run an "engineer-as-a-team" workflow — spawn agents for spec drafting, codegen, test generation, code review, refactoring, doc writing, and bug triage, then merge, judge, and ship. • Develop and defend a strong point of view on what good iOS code looks like inside Grove's architecture (View Controllers + ViewState value types, AppController/Coordinator patterns, protocol-driven Services and Data Managers, Combine, modularized via local Swift Packages) so you can critically review AI output and reject what doesn't meet our bar. • Design prompts, evals, and harnesses that make AI-assisted mobile development repeatable and measurable, not artisanal. • Stand up automation that closes the loop: Fastlane lanes, CircleCI checks, TestFlight distribution, device test farms, telemetry-driven rollback, and AI-powered review gates. • Drive architecture decisions with AI as a research and prototyping partner — explore three options in a day instead of one in a week, especially during the UIKit → SwiftUI migration. • Collaborate with other engineers on architecture and trade-offs — bring designs for review before you ship them. Solicit business context from PMs, designers, and platform engineers; don't guess in isolation. • Own production health autonomously — monitor Sentry, Datadog, Cloudflare, and Firebase to assess system health, triage incidents, and re-prioritize your own backlog without being asked. You set the queue; you don't wait for someone to tell you what's broken. • Mentor the Heady contractor team on AI-native workflows and share learnings with mobile peers.
