• Own and manage the organization's presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube • Develop and execute monthly and quarterly social media content calendars • Conceptualize platform-native content formats • Publish, schedule, and manage content across channels • Conceptualize, shoot (where required), and edit short-form video content • Design visually compelling social media assets • Ensure all visual content adheres to the organization's brand guidelines • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics • Manage routine content updates on the organization's website using a CMS platform such as WordPress • Translate research findings, field evidence, and program learnings into accessible, audience-appropriate content

• Manage the recruitment process from start to finish • Point of contact for candidates • Maintain and update candidate databases and ATS • Participate in team meetings and improve HR workflows • Bring ideas for process improvement

• Fundraising Leadership: Actively scout for new donors and secure funds to meet the Program's ambitious fundraising goals. • Funder Relationship Management: Own and nurture strong, long-term relationships with all funders, ensuring clear communication and alignment. • Proposal Development: Create compelling and customized proposals tailored to specific funders, addressing their interests and requirements in a timely manner. • Reporting Excellence: Prepare comprehensive individual project reports for various initiatives, adhering to funder specifications or internal templates, and submitting them within agreed timelines (primarily quarterly and annually). • Funder Research: Conduct thorough online secondary research to deeply understand funder interests and needs, enabling highly targeted and effective proposal submissions. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, participate in key project meetings to gain insights into program realities, and actively contribute to discussions when necessary. • Miscellaneous Support: Handle other project-related tasks as they arise, supporting the team's overall requirements.

• Manage and grow a 29-person media fellowship across 22 states • Review, edit, and improve fellow submissions for quality, accuracy, and consistency • Create reels, short-form videos, and social media content • Write and edit Substack posts, policy briefs, explainers, and threads • Own the organization’s public voice across all platforms and manage external communications

• Own and maintain platform - a district-level data platform covering 800+ districts across India • Add new features, visualizations, and improvements as the product evolves • Maintain and update org website • Fix bugs, improve performance, ensure reliability • Maintain pipelines that pull and process data from government databases into the platform • Handle data loading, transformation, and quality checks • Generate maps and GIS visualizations that make district-level patterns visible • Work directly with the Economist to implement and update scoring methodologies • Use AI coding tools — including Claude Code — to automate workflows, accelerate development, and reduce manual overhead • Build internal tools that support the research and policy team • Identify where automation can replace repetitive technical work • Document what you build so it doesn't live only in your head • Proactively flag technical debt and propose fixes before they become problems
