Job Summary We are seeking an Assistant Research Professor to work on the NIH-funded study, Trauma Intervention to Optimize PrEP Among Women Who Inject Drugs (TIARAS), a randomized controlled trial is to test the effectiveness of a trauma intervention designed to reduce HIV acquisition risk among women who inject drugs. The Assistant Research Professor will work with Dr. Alexis Roth, Associate Professor of Community Health and Prevention at Drexel University. Job Summary The Grant Administrator provides sponsored program oversight and administration from the pre-award proposal stage through award acceptance and post-award non-financial functions. The Grant Administrator maintains a portfolio of Drexel departments, advising and assisting associated faculty and departmental staff in assembling and submitting diverse grant proposals to governmental and non-governmental sponsors, ensuring institutional and sponsor compliance. Job Summary The Financial Aid Counselor serves as the main administrative role for the processing of federal, state and institutional financial aid programs. Job Summary This position will provide data and research support to the research project: evaluating law as an intervention to improve health outcomes and reduce disparities related to HIV, viral hepatitis, STDs and tuberculosis. The project is housed at the Urban Health Collaborative (UHC) within Drexel’s Dornsife School of Public Health and is a collaborative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and led by the Temple Center for Public Health Law Research. The project aims to strengthen the ability of health decision makers to identify and deploy laws and policies that improve health and health equity, with a focus on HIV, viral hepatitis, STDs, and tuberculosis, and disparities in these outcomes. Under the mentorship of Drs. Schnake-Mahl and Diez Roux, the research analyst will focus on analyzing quantitative data from these projects as well as related social policy exposures. The researcher will also focus heavily on manuscript writing and other dissemination activities. They will have the opportunity to lead publications and contribute as a co-author to publications led by other researchers. The UHC is a multi-disciplinary research center at the Dornsife School of Public Health, Drexel University, focused on improving health in cities. Job Summary The University Research Computing Facility (URCF) at Drexel University is building a new shared computing platform focused on GPU-accelerated workloads, particularly AI model training. The system includes GPU and CPU compute nodes with Nvidia H200, A100, and Grace Hopper hardware, orchestrated by Kubernetes on bare-metal, as well as a 1 PB high-performance Weka storage cluster and a 3 PB S3-compatible archival storage system with iRODS as the metadata layer. The DevOps Engineer will help build and operate this platform, working alongside the URCF’s Research Computing Specialist and collaborators in Drexel IT. The platform is under active development, and URCF is itself in the process of adopting container-native tools and workflows coming from a more traditional HPC background. This means the role involves building new things, improving what exists, and navigating some institutional learning curves alongside us. We currently use the following Technologies: - Ansible - Warewulf - Proxmox - Kubernetes (RKE2) - Cilium - Kyverno - Envoy - Kubeflow - Weka - iRODS - STORJ - Globus - Rocky Linux - Python and - Bash.
