Global Director – Finished Vehicles Logistics

• The Global Director – Finished Vehicles holds the primary responsibility of shaping and implementing a comprehensive FVL strategy within automotive, ensuring alignment with industry trends, supply chain management best practices and DP World regions. • By leveraging their expertise, the FVL sub-vertical leader actively contributes to the development of end-to-end solutions, utilizing data-driven insights and collaborating with the ports and terminals team to enhance thought leadership and drive sales. • They play a vital role in supporting Vertical VP, global and key account management, acting as a subject matter expert to provide tailored solutions, presentations & collateral to contribute to the overall coordination and management of key account teams and all DPW automotive efforts globally. • Functions as DP World global expert for the FVL sub-vertical. Is responsible for facilitating new business growth for all DPW services within the FVL sector. • The Global Director – Finished Vehicles is responsible for formulating and implementing a comprehensive sub-vertical strategy, focusing on staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management within FVL products & services. • The sub-vertical leader plays a pivotal role in analysing logistics data, identifying optimization opportunities, and spearheading the development of fit-for-purpose end-to-end solutions. Collaborating closely with the ports & terminals team and regional management, they contribute to the creation of innovative products that drive thought leadership and sales. • Acting as a subject matter expert, the sub-vertical leader supports Global Vertical VP, global and key account management by providing insights for end-to-end solutions tailored to customers' needs. They actively contribute to the coordination and management of key account teams, ensuring seamless service delivery. • The FVL sub-vertical leader assists GKAMs, RKAM, Key Account Managers and regional P&T management in selling FVL solutions to automotive customers around the world. • Facilitate FVL sales in all regions, selling all DPW services. Lead by example, using FVL / logistics expertise. Goal is to increase DPW FVL revenue 10% ($25M) by 2027 year end. • The Global Director – Finished Vehicles actively promotes thought leadership by conducting training sessions and organizing customer events. They represent the company at industry conferences, showcasing expertise. Collaborating closely with marketing and communications, they develop distinct collaterals and PR materials that effectively highlight the unique offerings of vertical solutions, with the expressed intention of positioning DP World as an expert and leader in FVL products and services. • The Global Director – Finished Vehicles also works with clients globally, conducting meetings with (or in the absence of) Global Vertical VP. He/she functions as a central point of contact for DPW’s FVL sub-vertical and is expected to assist internal and external clients with anything/everything FVL. The FVL vertical leader keeps track of all metrics for the FVL sub-vertical and maintains / creates appropriate collateral, presentations and other materials for use within and outside (with customers) of the FVL sub-vertical. • Working with the Global Vertical VP, ensures high performing & collaborating automotive team promoting engagement and ensuring that everyone is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound. • Always act as an ambassador for DP World when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Senior Launch Quality Engineer

Role Description The Quality Launch Engineer role is responsible for ensuring that our launch sites meet defined quality standards. This role oversees quality planning, training, risk assessment, validation activities, and cross-functional coordination to enable successful launches across North Americas. This is a remote role and would require travel extensively within North Americas region. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. How you will contribute - Gather data from the customer and internal sources as input for problem solving and communicate/report to appropriate personnel. - Interact with staff within the locations and within the Company and all customer and prospective customer representatives. - Handle all Quality Engineering related launch activities and serves as the voice of the Corporate Quality team. - Execute launch activities, new hire training, shop floor production support and product containment. - Prepare all APQP & PFEP documentation for part files on new and existing products/processes. - Collaborate with site Quality and Engineering departments on new part programs to verify customer requirements are met. - Create PFMEA, process control plans and operator/associate training. - Provide on-site support for execution and readiness activities related to steady state and major launches. - Drive Regional and Local quality initiatives. - Drive implementation of best practices and standardized quality metrics across all company operations. - Create training documentation and training exercises. - Maintain Training scorecards. - Analyze existing operations and propose continuous improvements. - Train team members on standard work instructions. - Aid in the development of training programs. - Support the development and execution of training and development strategies while leveraging emerging technologies in the work cell training space. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business focus. - At least 3 years of experience working in an automotive, medical devices or logistics environment working in a quality capacity is mandatory. - Knowledge of relevant international standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 etc.). - Knowledge of structured quality launch processes, preferably in the logistics/supply chain industry or equivalent based APQP process and tools (flow charts, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.). - Demonstrated knowledge of quality standards, inspections and written quality requirements. - Experience working with production floor training software is a plus. - Travel required at 50% to support new launches and projects.
