What you will do: - Manage M&A project migration, focusing on project narrative and visual asset conversion - Conduct structured interviews with project teams to gather detailed, differentiated information about goals, challenges, solutions, and outcomes. - Write clear, engaging project narratives that align with the firm's brand voice. - Translate technical concepts into accessible, human-centered storytelling. - Ensure consistency and quality across all content; edit and proofread for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with firm copy standards. - Prepare standardized narratives and visual assets for inclusion in the firm's asset management system. - Collaborate with marketing, digital, and design teams to refine messaging and understand linkage to broader business goals. - Lead additional writing projects, including web content, executive summaries, case studies, and thought leadership coverage. - Occasionally review content drafted by others, editing for brand voice and copy standards. - Record discovered project and people information in firm's database to ensure institutional knowledge. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field. - 5+ years of professional writing experience, including journalism, B2B content marketing, or related focuses, preferably with a focus in architecture, engineering, interior design, or related creative industries. - Strong interviewing, listening, and synthesis skills. - Proven ability to write about complex design and technical topics with clarity, creativity, and narrative flow. - Excellent grammar, editing, and storytelling instincts. - Capacity to autonomously and asynchronously manage workflow and deadlines Preferred Experience And Skills: - Comfortable working within a large, multidisciplinary organization - Familiarity with AEC terminology and project delivery processes. - Proven results in leveraging AI tools to speed the writing process without sacrificing quality and differentiated outcomes. Position Summary Architects at DLR Group are responsible for managing all aspects of project document development for complex Healthcare projects both large and small. They are also responsible for coordination with project team members to maintain work product quality within the established project schedule.
