Preferred Qualifications: - Industry certifications related to engineering technology, industrial automation, manufacturing systems, or applied technical disciplines. - Experience with modern engineering technologies, such as automation systems, robotics, instrumentation, computer-aided design, or advanced manufacturing technologies. - Experience applying systems engineering principles, including technical troubleshooting, process improvement, and system integration. - Experience with industry quality and operational frameworks, including continuous improvement, production management, or technical project management. - Experience with programmatic or regional accreditation processes, including outcomes assessment, curriculum alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Two to five years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level, preferably in engineering technology, applied engineering, electronics technology, industrial technology, or related technical disciplines. - Active membership or engagement in professional engineering or engineering technology organizations to maintain current industry knowledge and professional engagement. - Experience integrating laboratory-based instruction, technical simulations, engineering design projects, and applied problem-solving activities into post-secondary instruction to support hands-on learning Pay: Visiting Professor pay is based on level, credit hours taught per 8-week session, and location. In addition, DeVry University does not guarantee any specific number of work hours or assignments, which may vary based on the University’s needs and discretion. - Pay may vary in most states from $1500-$2700 per 8-week session - Pay in the states of AZ, CA, IN and PA is paid at an hourly rate of either $22.00/hour or $23.50/hour For Visiting Professor roles, we accept applications on an ongoing basis.
