This position reports to the Firmwide Event Leader and is a member of the Strategic Growth Office Business Unit. Responsible for daily management and operations related to the assigned Account event processes and related tasks, including but not limited to: - Serve as the primary contact for the aligned Account for events. - Operational planning and management for all assigned events, including but not limited to: Market-facing events, leadership meetings, and other internal events. - Scheduling and resource coordination for all Events. - Creation and implementation of an event project plan with clear objectives, budgets, timing, and assignments for all operational aspects. - Ensure operational efficiency and adherence to approved event budgets, firm policies, and departmental processes. - Identify vendor requirements for sourcing and recommend best solution based on event scope. - Coordinate with external vendors and/or Event Operations team members to ensure items are addressed or resolved. - Collaborate with appropriate individuals to expedite the review and approval of various event requests and associated tasks. - Coordinate with event sponsors to ensure appropriate handoff of attendee and engagement data for follow-up. This role does not own event messaging, promotional planning, or audience targeting; it is accountable for operational execution and production excellence. Qualifications - Hands-on corporate event planning and logistics experience, ideally within a professional services industry. - Experience in defining event objectives and corresponding ROI. - Oversight of projects, budgets, and resource allocation to support success and optimal operational efficiency. - Management of event resources in a distributed operating model/structure. - Ability to build strong respectful and professional working relationships at all levels, internal and external to the Firm. - Strong thought leadership and decision-making capabilities. - Strong work ethic and desire to produce results as part of a successful practice. - Strong verbal communication and people-related skills. - Advanced level of expertise in Microsoft Office. - Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to complete work and projects. - Strategic awareness and ability to bring ideation and efficiencies to projects and processes. - Ability to exercise a high level of confidentiality in all information, work products, and communications. - Process orientation and analytical skills to identify and report trends and make recommendations. - High energy level and ability to function in fast-paced, high stress situations attributed to tight deadlines and multiple client or team needs. - Fully remote with option for in office time if nearby a Crowe office. Requirements - At least 5 years of experience in a similar role required. - Background in professional services operations. - Bachelor or Associates degree in business, marketing or relevant field preferred. - Ability to work flexible schedules, including extended hours in excess of regular schedule, based on project work and peak busy times. - Ability to travel for event support, personal development training, and departmental meetings.
