• Build Coder’s Forward Deployed Engineering program inside Customer Solutions • Own the first wave of post-sales patterns, especially onboarding and customer “get well” motions • Help customers implement both the technical and organizational changes required to adopt agentic development workflows • Partner with the Field CTO and Customer Solutions leadership to align strategy, customer feedback, and execution • Use customer signals, product feedback, and operational data to improve onboarding quality, health outcomes, and expansion readiness • Develop repeatable patterns that can scale across customer segments with different levels of complexity • Help define how AI and human-in-the-loop workflows should modernize Customer Solutions over time • Contribute to hiring and team formation, with an expectation that this function grows further by year-end

Role Description You’ll build the AI behind Animus, our internal agent for revenue and customer intelligence. Your work turns scattered GTM data into clear answers and usable workflows for Sales, Success, Product, and Marketing. You design, ship, and improve AI workflows on a proven AWS and TypeScript base. You partner with GTM leaders, product, and infra to test, measure, and refine while keeping the system accurate, observable, and cost-aware. What you’ll do here: - Design and implement AI workflows on top of existing data pipelines (product feedback extraction, customer update generation, onboarding plans, win/loss summaries, CRM enrichment) - Extend and refine the current TypeScript-based agent: tooling, tool schemas, routing logic, error handling, and observability - Improve transcript and account matching across Zoom, Granola, and Salesforce using entity resolution, heuristics, and/or LLM-assisted matching - Integrate new data sources (Slack, Zendesk, Google Drive, Nexus/telemetry, email) into the existing AWS stack - Define and consume pre-aggregated account/opportunity summaries in S3 for fast, reliable query - Optimize Lambda-based data processing jobs for cost, reliability, and performance - Iterate on model strategy: cheap routing (e.g., Claude Haiku) vs. higher-quality response models (e.g., Claude Sonnet/Opus) - Evaluate prompts, tool selection quality, and response accuracy with clear metrics - Collaborate with GTM stakeholders (Sales, SE, CS, Product, Marketing) to define, test, and refine AI-assisted workflows - Partner with infra engineering (Terraform, Kubernetes) to ensure deployment, security, and observability are production-ready - Contribute to future UI/UX (Slack bot flows, simple web UI/dashboards) to expose workflows to end users Qualifications - 5+ years in software engineering, including 1-2+ years building LLM-based applications or agents - Strong experience in TypeScript/Node.js (ideal) or Python for backend and data processing - Hands-on experience with LLM tool calling/agents (custom frameworks, LangChain, or equivalent) - Practical RAG expertise: chunking, metadata schemas, retrieval, relevancy, and evaluation - Solid AWS experience: Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch; exposure to Bedrock is a plus - Background in data integration/pipelines: consuming APIs and webhooks (Salesforce, Slack, Zendesk, Zapier, etc.) - Skill in designing JSON schemas, pre-aggregated summaries, and metadata models for query - Familiarity with Salesforce data structures (accounts, opportunities, leads, activities) or willingness to ramp quickly - Comfortable working in a partially “vibe‑coded” codebase and refactoring toward higher quality (testing, structure, observability) - Experience with prompt engineering and evaluation for business workflows (accuracy, reliability, user trust) - Ability to travel up to 20% Benefits - Bonus tacos if you have: - Amazon Bedrock knowledge bases. - Terraform and/or Kubernetes. - Slack bot development and slash commands. - CRM enrichment, sales tooling, or GTM analytics. - GDPR/data privacy considerations for AI systems. - Prior work on sales/revops intelligence tools, conversation intelligence (Zoom/Granola/Gong‑style), or human‑in‑the‑loop review flows. • Design and build product features that push the standard for remote development in self-hosted environments • Create and improve upon popular open source projects that integrate with VS Code, JetBrains, and other developer tools • Champion best practices to both internal team members and external contributors • Collaborate with Product and Design teams at Coder, as well as with partners like JetBrains, to execute key product integrations • Document the design, implementation, and operations of systems for knowledge sharing within the team • Work alongside Customer Success teams to support Coder’s enterprise user base • Work with cutting-edge AI technologies to create seamless, painless developer experiences • Rapidly iterate from prototype to implementation in a highly adaptive, reactive team environment

• Own onboarding and rollout plans for new customers; coordinate with Sales for a smooth, successful implementation of Coder’s platform • Remove barriers to adoption so customers achieve their desired outcomes expediently • Engage with customers to understand goals, challenges, and use cases, and provide tailored guidance and recommendations • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, and partner with Sales on upsell and cross‑sell motions • Oversee renewals and forecasting, ensuring timely, successful commitments • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, issues, and escalations, and collaborate with Coder teams to resolve • Monitor and report on customer health and usage • Develop deep expertise in Coder’s products to provide global customer coverage

• Own security administration and configuration for core IT platforms, including Okta, Slack, and Google Workspace • Manage general IT support requests during EMEA working hours, with a focus on security-related systems and issues • Lead rollout and ongoing management of endpoint and data protection tools, including MDM, DLP, and EDR • Partner with the broader Security team on SOC2 compliance work, audit preparation, and security improvement projects • Work with Security to develop and refine policies for endpoint protection and corporate application security • Act as the primary IT Systems point of contact during declared security incidents, including triage, coordination, and follow-through • Monitor security portals, dashboards, and automated alerts across IT systems, then investigate and act on what matters • Develop and enforce access groups across applications and platforms, with a focus on least privilege and operational clarity • Audit user access across systems and tools, and automate that work where it makes sense • Support security audits by representing IT systems, reviewing internal processes, and helping harden controls over time • Create and maintain documentation for IT security systems, processes, FAQs, and support workflows • Build installation packages and policy assignments for endpoint security software and serve as an escalation point for deployment or configuration issues • Create visual data flows that show how systems interact and what data moves between them • Build dashboards, reports, datasets, and alerting using APIs, logging platforms, and internal systems • Stay current on security trends, best practices, zero-day notices, and vendor alerts, then assess internal impact and recommend response plans

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees in the UK and across EOR arrangements • Own offer letter generation, contract administration, and onboarding workflows for international hires, including navigating country-specific requirements • Administer employee benefits across EOR providers; identify gaps and make recommendations as we transition to a direct London entity • Support entity setup this summer by working with legal, finance, and our HRBP to build a compliant UK employment infrastructure from the ground up • Be the internal expert on UK employment law from contracts, right to work, statutory leave entitlements, termination requirements, and any country-specific norms • Advise the HR Manager and People leadership on international compliance matters, proactively flag risks • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment regulations across our active EOR countries • Manage international employee data and workflows in Rippling and/or Deel • Ensure data integrity across HRIS systems; support audits and reporting • Identify and implement process improvements for how we onboard, administer, and offboard international employees • Resolve employee questions on benefits, policies, leave, and pay • Partner with the HR Coordinator to divide and streamline administrative work across the team
