Role Description - The Project Manager shall demonstrate experience managing cost, schedule, scope, and performance for multidisciplinary IT and AI-focused teams (e.g., software engineers, data scientists/ML engineers, testers, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations) using Agile and/or iterative delivery methods in coordination with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices. - Working knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle and interaction with Contracting Officers (COs), Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs), and governance bodies, including familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable agency supplements as they relate to IT and AI services. - A practical understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), federal security and privacy requirements (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST RMF, protection of PII), and service-level management, including the unique risk, ethics, and governance considerations associated with AI capabilities. - The Project Manager shall be capable of developing and maintaining integrated project plans and schedules; risk, issue, and action item logs; AI-specific risk and model-governance artifacts (e.g., model evaluation plans, bias and performance tracking, change-management for models); resource and staffing plans; and recurring status reports and performance metrics required by the contract. - Shall possess strong written and oral communication skills sufficient to brief senior Government stakeholders and prepare formal documentation. Qualifications - Eight (8) years of progressive experience managing information technology (IT) projects, including at least five (5) years serving as the Project Manager on federal or comparable public-sector IT initiatives of similar scope, complexity, and dollar value. - A minimum of two (2) years of direct experience planning, executing, and overseeing projects that implement artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) solutions (e.g., large language models, intelligent automation, advanced analytics, AI-enabled decision support, or similar capabilities) into production or operational environments. PROJECT COORDINATION & DOCUMENTATION - Act as the primary technical liaison between the Program Management Office (PMO) and the site customer (bases, camp, posts, and stations). - Create and maintain engineering drawings using Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD. - Ensure all field activities comply with safety regulations and military installation access procedures. - Provide After Action Reports (AARs) and daily status updates during travel. - Ensure personnel remain up to date and current on all required training and certifications Required Experience/Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering or 6+ years of relevant field experience in lieu of a degree. - 5+ years of experience in hardware/software integration and structured cabling - Proven experience conducting site surveys for DoD or Federal Government environments. - Proficiency in Microsoft Visio for creating network diagrams and rack elevations. - Strong understanding of power requirements (NEMA plugs, UPS sizing, BTU calculations). - Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards (single-mode, multi-mode, CAT6) Preferred Experience/Qualifications - US Army Signal Brigade / DISA / DoDIN network installation/modernization experience - Computer Aided Design (CAD) Information Technology - BICSI Technician or RCDD certification Special Requirements/Security Clearance - Active Secret Clearance; Top Secret preferred - Must be able to travel 90% of the time on deployments for both CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations Physical Demands - Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs; ability to work in confined spaces (server closets, raised floors)

We’re increasing our team to support the US Army Comprehensive Modernization (COMPMOD) program. The program delivers end-to-end EFIS&T services—including survey and design through installation, security, and testing. This work spans NIPR and SIPR networks, Wi-Fi, VoIP, ISP/OSP infrastructure, and voice modernization across all CONUS Army installations. We have an opening for a Project Manager. The functions of this position and responsibilities include elements such as: responsible for the overall direction, management, communication, coordination of deliverables, and accountability of project oriented work efforts and success of their projects across the IT organization; create scope documents based on approved charters and project plans (work breakdown structures); track key milestones and adjust project plans, budget requests and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. #compmod Responsibilities - Reports directly to the Task Order Manager - Providing Project Management support, to include developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, creating and submitting program related documentation, preparing and presenting briefings, providing full conference/meeting support, and preparing senior level strategic briefings and metrics as required by the Government - Supporting all aspects of the development and implementation of IT services projects - Providing analysis and recommendations in support of the resolution of IT-related problems; executing the recommendations as directed by the client. - Aiding in the coordination of activities and documents to ensure alignment with plans and directives for delivery of IT solutions - Overall daily responsibility for the delivery of all work products and services on this program, to include technical artifacts, reports, presentations and briefings to the client - Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management, planning and project team - Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports - Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives - Ensures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, project team and clients - Ensures production schedules are met or exceeded - Ensures engineering & technical resources are used effectively and appropriately. - Coordinates resolution of deliverable-related problems - Ensures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services and deliverables - Prioritize efforts to ensure successful client outcome - Uses strong planning and organizational skills to ensure timely completion of all milestones and efforts with minimal client disruption - Provides proactive and responsive customer focused leadership, reaching back to corporate resources to mitigate risks and resolve any issues that may arise Required Experience/Qualifications - High School Diploma required - Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) required within 6 months of start date - At least 5 years relevant Project Management experience across the entire project life cycle - Excellent leadership skills (leading teams of more than 10 personnel) - Experience managing projects across multiple locations simultaneously - Related industry experience in information technology or engineering - Working knowledge Microsoft Office Tools; specifically Excel and Project - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Experience/Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or higher is desired but not required - Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or information technology management or technical discipline - Experience working with the Army - Field Services experience Special Requirements/Security Clearance - Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain - Travel: 80% travel Physical Demands - Ability to type, communicate via telephone, visit multiple sites daily, inspect, and document locations for future installations. - Ability to lift 30 lbs and work in confined spaces
