Role Description As a Field Marketing Manager at BioRender, you’ll bring our mission directly to the scientific community by designing and executing memorable event experiences. You’ll own the execution of BioRender’s field marketing programs — from major conferences and trade shows to campus and customer onsites — to drive awareness, engagement, and demand. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to connect BioRender with scientists where they work, learn, and discover. What You’ll Be Doing - Execute and optimize BioRender’s onsite and field marketing strategy — driving brand presence, pipeline growth, and community engagement through events and activations. - Plan and execute end-to-end logistics for customer onsites, conferences, trade shows, and regional events, ensuring every experience reflects BioRender’s brand and mission. - Partner with Sales and Customer Success to align field marketing activities with go-to-market goals and customer engagement strategies. - Manage event budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to deliver exceptional onsite experiences efficiently and on brand. - Collect and analyze event performance data to measure ROI and continuously optimize our field marketing approach. - Collaborate with the broader Marketing team to amplify event content across digital, PR, and community channels. Qualifications - 3-5+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or experiential marketing — ideally in a SaaS, tech, or life sciences environment. - Proven success executing and optimizing field marketing programs that generate measurable pipeline and brand impact. - Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to manage and execute against fast-paced timelines and across several cross-functional collaborators. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for building strong relationships across teams and vendors. - A passion for creating exceptional in-person experiences that inspire and engage audiences. - A growth mindset — you’re curious, creative, resourceful, and excited to scale programs that make a real difference in the scientific community. Benefits - We are mission-driven: we work collaboratively towards our shared vision of improving scientific communication and accelerating scientific discovery. BioRender figures have appeared in more than 54,000 publications! - BioRender is loved by millions: We have a world-class NPS and a community of loyal fans and users in 200+ countries! - Our company is backed by top investors and accelerators like Y Combinator, and we are on a growth trajectory comparable to many top-performing SaaS companies. - We’re remote-first with team members across Canada and the U.S., offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere. Senior Application Security Engineer

BioRender Inc.

BioRender is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.

Role Description BioRender is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join our Security team – an engineer first, who contributes directly to the codebase rather than managing security from the sidelines. You'll help define how security is built into our engineering organization, contributing production code across our application (Node.js/React/Python) and infrastructure (Python, Terraform, AWS, Cloudflare) while shaping secure-by-design patterns, CI/CD automation, and engineering workflows that let the company move quickly and safely. You'll work AI-natively, using AI coding assistants and agentic tooling to accelerate your own work while helping secure the AI-powered capabilities we're building. If you're excited by building developer-friendly security systems, solving meaningful engineering problems, and focusing on the threats that actually matter, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll do - Hands-on engineering & codebase contribution - Contribute production-quality code directly to the application (Node.js/React) and infrastructure (Python, Terraform) – you ship fixes and hardening yourself, not just findings for others to action. - Build and maintain security and CI/CD tooling for automation, keeping the secure path the default path. - Act as a security reviewer on RFCs and design documents, and pair with engineers to resolve issues at the source. - Architecture, design & secure SSDLC - Define secure-by-design patterns and drive standards for authentication, authorization, and API security. - Lead threat modeling on new and existing systems and turn those models into shipped controls. - Own and evolve the Secure SDLC and CI/CD security integration (SAST/DAST/SCA/secrets) – tuned for high signal and low noise. - AI-native security & automation - Work AI-natively: use AI coding assistants and agentic tooling to accelerate code review, triage, and tooling development. - Secure AI-integrated product features – reasoning about prompt injection, data leakage, and over-scoped tool, token, and data access. - Automate recurring security work so the team scales through leverage, not headcount. - Web & product security (active defense) - Perform penetration testing and code reviews (Node.js/React) using OWASP methodology. - Drive identification and remediation of application security vulnerabilities (SAST/DAST/HackerOne). - Own the bug bounty program end to end – issue evaluation, reproduction, and closing findings by shipping fixes. Qualifications - Demonstrable software engineering ability – you read code fluently, write production-quality code that engineers respect, and have contributed to real codebases (Node.js/React; Python a plus). - Fluency using AI development tools (AI coding assistants, agentic workflows) to get the job done, and a clear-eyed view of the security risks they introduce. - Expertise in web application security and secure-coding best practices, and the ability to review code and application findings. - Experience integrating and maintaining SAST/DAST systems within CI/CD, and with Secure Software Development Life Cycles. - Hands-on experience securing cloud workloads on AWS and comfort with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent); familiarity with Cloudflare a plus. - Threat-modeling experience and command of common code and network vulnerability types, their impact, and remediation. - Applied knowledge of cryptography, PKI, and TLS and their practical implementation. Requirements - Experience hardening LLM-integrated or AI-powered features in production. - Experience operating a bug bounty program (e.g. HackerOne). - Contributions to SOC 2 control design and audit readiness from the engineering side. - Relevant certifications (e.g. OSCP, OSWE, AWS Security Specialty) – valued, but not a substitute for engineering ability. Benefits - We are mission-driven: we work collaboratively towards our shared vision of improving scientific communication and accelerating scientific discovery. BioRender figures have appeared in more than 54,000 publications! - BioRender is loved by millions! We have a world-class NPS and a community of loyal fans and users in 200+ countries! - Our company is backed by top investors and accelerators like Y Combinator, and we are on a growth trajectory comparable to many top-performing SaaS companies. - We’re remote-first with team members across Canada and the U.S., offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Success Metrics - At 6 months: Can independently handle any data analysis inquiry with confidence, matching the user's level of expertise. Benefits - Opportunity to shape the culture of a company that genuinely invests in it. We're generous with our culture budget and care deeply about getting it right. - Work directly with founders and senior leadership who treat culture as core to the business, not a side project. - Real ownership: once we align on direction, you have the autonomy to run with execution. - Help build an employee experience that lets some of the most talented people in science communication do their best work. Role Description BioRender is hiring the first Head of BioRender Graphing. This person will own the product strategy, roadmap, and revenue for a product we just launched into a category that hasn’t seen real innovation in decades. The work is to find product-market fit, build against a deeply entrenched competitor, and grow Graphing into a business with the potential to be even larger than our flagship product given our existing distribution. You’ll report directly to the CPO and will need to work closely with leaders across engineering, go-to-market, and product marketing to get there. Product ownership is the primary lever, but the job is measured in product adoption and revenue. - Own the Graphing P&L as a true "GM” across both our full serve and self service motions: carry the revenue number and define the strategy to hit it, including pricing, packaging, acquisition, expansion, and retention. - Establish product-market fit by figuring out which scientists, workflows, and use-cases we win, and building toward that with conviction. - Develop and execute the roadmap by turning competitive insight, user research, and revenue data into clear product strategy and prioritization calls. - Shape go-to-market by partnering with product marketing on the product narrative, competitive positioning, and launch sequencing that GTM relies on. - Support and shift the company into a multi-product sales motion through sales enablement and direct involvement in deals. Qualifications - Proven track record building a 0-to-1 product and scaling it to meaningful ARR; you know what PMF feels like, and what it feels like when it’s not there yet. - An analytically rigorous business owner mindset; you have experience owning a P&L or hard revenue target, not just a roadmap, with a demonstrated ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes. - Experience competing in markets with deeply entrenched incumbents; you have a track record of navigating the product, positioning, and timing challenges that come with it. - Earns alignment without authority and builds credibility through insight; you bring the team along by being user obsessed and a simple and clear communicator, not through org chart leverage. - Comfort operating in unstructured, ambiguous environments where there is no playbook and the role is being built from scratch; you create clarity out of ambiguity. - Science background is a plus; but what matters most is you have curiosity about science and the ability to understand a user deeply and build for them. Benefits - We are mission-driven: we work collaboratively towards our shared vision of improving scientific communication and accelerating scientific discovery. BioRender figures have appeared in more than 54,000 publications. - BioRender is loved by millions! We have a world-class NPS and a community of loyal fans and users in 200+ countries. - Our company is backed by top investors and accelerators like Y Combinator and Dimension Capital, and our financial performance exceeds that of top-tier SaaS companies. - We’re remote-first with team members across Canada and the U.S., offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere. Company Description BioRender is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
