Role Description BDR is seeking several Healthcare Schedulers / Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to join our growing team! This will be a Remote role with the duties performed virtually from your home office. Role Overview: - Provide coordination of care to Veterans and assist to schedule Medical and Dental appointments. - This job will require Veteran and Provider outreach. - A referral will be used as the source to schedule and various systems will be utilized. Responsibilities: - Contact assigned list of Veterans to determine their medical appointment scheduling preference Provider and availability. - Contact In-Network providers to schedule appointment within Veteran Preference and contracted time frames. - Track all booked and arrived appointments for patients generated through outreach efforts. - Ensure patient confidentiality with the handling of all patient health information and records. - Communicate all issues with leader. - Support Inbound/Outbound patient phone calls. - Respond to or refer incoming calls in a prompt, pleasant, and professional manner. - Always remain in the call queue unless permission to leave is approved. - Confirm address spelling and verification of addresses using the appropriate software. - Administer schedule additions, changes, or inquiries in the appropriate database within required time frames. - Process scheduling requests in a timely fashion. - Work effectively in a structured, production environment. - Adhere to daily schedules and assignments. - Work with leadership team to identify and forward potential Quality of Care complaints. - Maintain strict member and company confidentiality. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications - High school diploma or GED. - Must be able to start on June 15, 2026. - 1+ year of experience in a medical or health insurance environment. - 3-4 years of experience in a call center environment. - Knowledge of medical terminology (provider specialties, ICD/CPT codes etc.). - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. - Must have workspace in the home with a door and no distractions. - Ability to multi-task and exhibit solid organizational skills, flexibility, time management and attention to detail. - Experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools. - Metric focused and ability to consistently meet productivity standards. - Must be able to type 35 WPM to qualify. - Must be detail oriented and able to effectively document and communicate details. - Must have outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and be able to maintain relationships in a positive and professional demeanor. - Ability to work remotely from home with a high degree of accountability. This remote role supports employees across multiple states and collaborates closely with HR, Operations, Payroll, Contracts, and Talent Acquisition. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and leadership, ensuring that all activities comply with federal statutes, regulatory guidance, and agency requirements. The Project Manager must be fully versed in FOIA processes, lifecycle management, records handling, and privacy compliance. Responsibilities: Program Oversight & Leadership - Lead day-to-day FOIA/Privacy program operations, ensuring timely and accurate request processing. - Manage staffing levels, task assignments, employee performance, and workload forecasting. - Coordinate with COR, VA leadership, and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability. FOIA Lifecycle Management - Oversee intake, search, review, redaction, and response processes for FOIA requests. - Ensure compliance with FOIA, Privacy Act, federal records requirements, and agency policies. - Monitor and maintain workflow tools, tracking systems, and reporting dashboards. Quality Assurance & Risk Management - Implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy, legal sufficiency, and consistency. - Identify risks, operational bottlenecks, and areas for process improvement. - Develop mitigation strategies and corrective action plans. Stakeholder Engagement - Serve as primary liaison with COR, government leadership, and external partners. - Prepare and deliver program reports, metrics, briefings, and performance updates. Training & Continuous Improvement - Provide training to staff on FOIA processing, privacy requirements, and records management. - Develop SOPs, desk guides, and process enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance. Required Minimum Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or related field. - Substitution: Four (4) years of relevant experience may substitute for degree. Experience: - Minimum of three (3) years managing teams or federal support operations. - Minimum of one (1) year supporting FOIA, records management, privacy, or compliance programs. - Substitution: Demonstrated FOIA workflow experience may substitute for certifications. - Experience with systems such as FOIAXpress, PAL, CaseTrack, eDiscovery tools, Relativity, SharePoint, or similar. Certifications: - PMP preferred; Lean Six Sigma or Records Management certifications a plus. Role Description The Sr. Back-End Developer will focus on building secure, scalable, and high-performing server-side applications and APIs. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end engineers, DevOps, cybersecurity, and IRS stakeholders, to design, develop and maintain back-end solutions aligned with cloud and security standards. - Lead the design and development of secure back-end services, RESTful APIs, and microservices that integrate with IRS digital platforms. - Implement best practices for cloud-native applications in an AWS and Kubernetes-based environment, ensuring compliance with IRS Publication 4812, NIST 800-53, and FISMA requirements. - Collaborate with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to refine user stories and translate them into functional back-end features. - Support CI/CD processes using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and SonarQube, including automated testing and secure deployments. - Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist in developing automated test cases to ensure 90%+ code coverage for critical functionality. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes. - Contribute to performance tuning, scalability testing, and capacity planning to meet IRS standards for availability and load performance.
