Role Description We’re building a brand-new, US-based, fully remote game studio developing new slot games and we’re looking for an Associate Mathematician to help develop the math models that power our games. In this role, you’ll work with an experienced Game Designer to create new slot game math models with high-performing mechanics, ensuring they are accurate, fair, and engaging. What You’ll Be Doing - Define the mathematical profile of the game, including the game’s balance, volatility, and player experience. - Create and maintain the game’s PAR sheets and other math documentation, using both Excel and simulations. - Work closely with the Game Designer, prototyping team, and engineering team to ensure the math is implemented accurately and follows the overall game design. - Playtest and iterate on your game’s math and mechanics with an eye toward creating the best player experience possible. - Collaborate with other mathematicians to provide gameplay feedback and recommendations for improvement on each other’s games. - Regularly play competitors’ games in the iGaming and land-based spaces to stay abreast of industry trends and new mechanics. Role Description The Streamer Community Specialist is responsible for the daily execution, moderation, and relationship management of the Portuguese speaking segment within our official streamer community. Reporting directly to the Community Manager, this role ensures a vibrant, safe, and highly engaged environment by acting as the primary point of contact for Portuguese speaking creators and influencers. This role can be done remotely from LATAM only. Sales Enablement - Collaborate with Commercial team to craft compelling sales pitches around our lobby features. - Help build and maintain pitch materials, competitive decks, and demo environments. - Monitor and make suggestions on how operators may better utilize our lobby tools. - Gather and synthesize feedback from Commercial teams on client and player experiences with our lobby products. Then review, discuss, and distil this information into future improvements. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Education, Qualifications, and Background - You must have experience doing competitive analyses and understand how to filter, prepare, and present this information in a way that is actionable. - You must have experience with user acceptance testing and playtesting. You must understand how to filter, prepare, and present information and results from these processes in a way that is actionable. - Experience in the gaming industry is preferred. Key Experience Areas - You will have worked with software development or productivity tools where you can systematically log detailed issues and track them to resolution. - You will be presenting a lot of information to different audiences around the business. You need to have mastery over the Office Suite and any other digital design products that can clearly communicate and relay your ideas. - Ideally you will have tested and/or play tested games and other digital products. - Ideally you will have some technical background or knowledge. What We Need From You: - Love using digital products and playtesting things. We need someone who is going to play with the lobby and ecosystem every single day with the mindset of a player and really scrutinize every detail with the goal of improving everything. - Be exceptionally well-organized. There are going to be a lot of moving parts to this role so you must bring method and structure to your approach. - Be extremely analytical. - Be obsessed with details and optimisations. Creating amazing player experiences means scrutinising every detail to ensure that you’re constantly delivering the best possible solution. In a such a highly competitive industry, small details can make a big difference. - Discuss constructively and diplomatically. Having many different stakeholders and views means that we won’t always agree on the way forward – but we need to focus on collaborating solutions that deliver optimal outcomes for our customers. - Be open and flexible. There are many ways to interpret datasets and different approaches you can take for an optimal outcome. You need to be ready to adjust your views on the fly, all in service of an outstanding player experience. - Be an expert communicator both visually and verbally. Your insights should nearly speak for themselves; however, you still need to be able to walk different audiences through them in detail. For example, explaining them to stakeholders versus relaying the details of what you’d like built to development. - Exude transparency, openness, and objectivity. We’re all here to build great things and need to collaborate effectively. - Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work to very tight deadlines. You will craft dynamic VFX, animations, and game assets that captivate players and define the look and feel of our products. This is a high-impact role where creativity meets technology, giving you the opportunity to push visual quality, influence artistic direction, and shape next-generation gaming experiences. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Execute a wide range of visual effects styles — from hyper-realistic to highly stylized — ensuring alignment with the game’s artistic direction. - Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Artists, Designers, Programmers, Animation teams, and Producers to deliver high-quality VFX that enhance gameplay and player engagement. - Align on priorities, feedback, and creative direction to meet both artistic and technical goals. - Organize, maintain, and optimize project assets within production tools and server structures to ensure efficient workflows. - Create clear and compelling static and animated concepts to guide production teams. - Design, produce, and animate high-quality 2D and 3D assets, including environments, props, and particle effects (2D/3D systems) - Work with tools such as 3ds Max (Corona Render), Blender, and After Effects, ensuring assets are optimized for performance and visual fidelity. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines. - Work confidently within a Windows-based production environment. - Demonstrate strong ownership, self-motivation, and adaptability, while maintaining high artistic standards. - Continuously develop technical and creative skills by exploring new tools, pipelines, and workflows. WHAT WE ASK OF YOU - 3+ years of professional experience in VFX, Game Art, or a similar role (iGaming experience is a strong advantage). - Proven experience working on creative projects within cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in industry-standard 2D and 3D tools such as Blender, 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, Houdini, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Media Encoder. - Basic knowledge of 3ds Max. - Strong understanding of animation principles and motion graphics. - Solid knowledge of lighting, rendering, shaders, and material development. - Good understanding of character and hard-surface animation. - Experience creating high-quality 2D/3D assets, environments, and visual effects. - Understanding of file export formats (e.g., MOV, MP4, TARGA, PNG sequences, output channels). - Knowledge of frame rates across film, animation, and game engines. - Familiarity with post-production processes. - Professional proficiency in spoken and written English (fluency is required, as the company is international and daily communication in English with colleagues is essential). - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a ever-evolving environment. - Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of deliverables. - Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail. - Excellent communication and time management skills. - High level of professionalism, reliability, and discretion. - Creative mindset with a strong sense of aesthetics and design principles. - Interest in new technologies and ability to approach complex challenges with innovative solutions. - Eagerness to learn, grow, and continuously improve.
