Role Description AULT, a company of Alta Equipment Group, is seeking an Accounting Technician – Accounts Payable and Receivable in Waterloo, QC. The main responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to: - Accounts Payable - Verify, code, and enter supplier invoices. - Prepare payments (checks, wire transfers, etc.). - Track payment due dates and manage relationships with suppliers. - Ensure invoices match purchase orders and receipts. - Process employee travel expenses. - Accounts Receivable - Issue invoices to customers based on agreements or services rendered. (ON-NB) - Monitor customer accounts and send reminders as needed. - Post received payments to the correct accounts. - Work collaboratively with the sales or project department to resolve discrepancies or disputes. - General Accounting and Other Tasks - Post journal entries in the financial system. - Participate in month-end closing (adjusting entries, accruals, etc.). - Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes. - Drafting accounting procedures. - Support the team during audits or external reviews. - Maintain up-to-date supplier and customer files. - Other tasks deemed relevant by management. Qualifications - College diploma (DEC) in accounting or a related field. - Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Excel). - Bilingual in spoken and written French (intermediate level—minimum required). - Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics software (an asset). - Knowledge of Concur software (a plus). - Diligence, attention to detail, independence, and organizational skills. - Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. - Team-oriented and collaborative. Requirements - The employee will be responsible for the accounting of our Ontario branch. Role Description Alta Material Handling is seeking a full-time Business Development Representative. This position is fully remote, with an expectation to travel occasionally for in-person staff meetings. Responsibilities include: - Lead Generation & Lead Qualification - Generate & Develop leads for the CRM through phone calls, e-mails, LinkedIn, etc. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce a high level of strong leads - Enter Customer contact information in CRM as it is obtained. - Effectively Communicate Alta products and services - High amount of lead generation activity with ability to maintain a high level of customer relationship skills - Manage and follow up on existing leads in the CRM - Follow up on clicks from email blasts, ad campaigns, and marketing initiatives. - Maintain and expand database of prospects within assigned territory. - Pushing qualified opportunities to account managers for further development. - Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and evolving product lines - Respond and filter incoming calls - Receives all incoming sales calls and directs them accordingly. - Coordinate complex or more significant sales opportunities to the Outside Salesperson, providing complete customer contact information, project details, and customer timeline/urgency - Develop a thorough understanding of product lines, basic technical aspects, business cycle, and customer support. - Collaborate with regional sales team as well as fellow business development team - Understand customer needs and requirements - Training - Attend Training classes and meetings as needed - Assigned Field time with reps to learn the territory, industry, and areas of focus - Meet minimum weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly results standards - Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities - Performs other duties as assigned - Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time Qualifications - Must be bilingual - French Canadian & English - We do not require Canadian work experience for this role. - Previous CRM experience is required. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on designer who can manage multiple projects, collaborate closely with marketers and stakeholders, and execute efficiently in a fast‑paced, multi‑location environment. Key Responsibilities Creative Production & Design - Design and produce marketing assets across digital and print channels, including website graphics, email campaigns, social media assets, digital ads, sales collateral, presentations, signage, and event materials. - Support sales and branch teams with professionally designed materials such as brochures, one‑pagers, product sheets, trade show graphics, and internal communications. - Adapt creative concepts across multiple formats while maintaining brand standards and visual consistency. Brand & Standards Management - Apply and uphold Alta brand guidelines across all creative deliverables. - Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across materials for multiple business units, locations, and audiences. - Assist in evolving brand assets and templates as needed to support marketing efficiency. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in an in‑house marketing or B2B environment. - Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). - Experience designing for both digital and print applications. - Strong attention to detail, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
