This position will support intake form development and ensure consistent metadata standards across all cataloged data assets. Key Responsibilities - Configure and maintain SharePoint-based metadata repositories - Develop and manage Power Apps intake forms for metadata submission - Apply consistent classification and tagging schemes to cataloged data assets - Support RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and security configuration for repositories - Assist with Power BI dashboard content development and maintenance - Ensure metadata entries comply with DCAT and organizational standards - Support repository go-live activities and initial user acceptance testing - Maintain catalog operations during sustained operations phases - Generate catalog reports and metrics for governance dashboards - Coordinate with Data Governance Analysts on metadata ingestion workflows - Support user training on catalog search, discovery, and access features Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Library Science, Computer Science, or related field - Minimum 3 years of experience with data catalog platforms or metadata management tools - Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI) - Experience with SharePoint Online configuration and administration - Strong understanding of data classification and taxonomy development - Experience with metadata schemas and controlled vocabularies - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance Preferred Qualifications - Experience with enterprise data catalog platforms (Collibra, Alation, Informatica) - Knowledge of DCAT, Dublin Core, or other metadata standards - Federal government or DoD contractor experience - Experience with data lineage documentation - Understanding of healthcare data classifications - Power Automate workflow development experience #LIREMOTE Here at rockITdata, we are committed to following our 10 Guiding Principles.
