Job Description

Senior Director of New Store Openings – Transfers

WellBiz Brands, Inc.

• Provide enterprise-wide oversight of all aspects of new studio openings, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution of operational readiness, training, and performance ramp-up within the first 90 and 180 days of operation. • Set and drive the strategic direction for new store opening processes, partnering closely with franchisees, studio managers, and franchisee support teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and seamless execution across all phases of the opening lifecycle. • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding franchisees following ownership transfers or studio sales, ensuring smooth operational transitions, continuity of brand standards, and minimal disruption to performance. • Leverage data analytics and performance reporting to assess NSO effectiveness, identify trends and risks, and implement continuous improvements that enhance both opening execution and ongoing studio performance. • Lead presale strategy and execution by managing the digital marketing vendor, designing compelling presale offers, and ensuring strong campaign performance that drives early membership acquisition and Day 1 revenue for franchisees. • Direct and develop the NSO team while proactively managing franchisee sentiment by building trusted relationships, providing clear communication, and serving as a visible and credible leader representing the Support Center during the new store opening journey. • Ensure all NSO-related initiatives, programs, and projects are delivered on time and within budget, with clear accountability to defined key performance indicators, business outcomes, and franchisee success metrics.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in multi-site consumer services (fitness, wellness, beauty, etc.)
  • Experience managing teams of 5+ full-time employees
  • Deep expertise designing, optimizing and delivering presell programs with strong Day 1 revenue and fast ramp to profitability is a must
  • Proven ability to lead teams across diverse functions, including talent acquisition, training, education, and revenue growth.
  • Experience working with leadership teams, including C-suite, and managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong data analytics skills, with the ability to synthesize information and communicate insights concisely to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in franchise operations, including new store openings and service provider capacity strategies.
  • Experience developing and implementing national training and educational programs.
  • Strong project management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and lead at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.
