Role Description As the Vice President of Planning, you will lead the continuous delivery and improvement of Paula’s Choice global supply, demand, and inventory management. - Own end-to-end demand and supply planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), inventory strategy, and supplier performance across global DTC, retail, and marketplace businesses. - Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, IT, and Product Development leaders. - Lead, manage, and develop a remote team of supply, demand, and inventory planners and managers. Key metrics for this position include: - Customer service - In-stock - Lead-times - Inventory days on hand and dollars - Supplier on-time in full - SLOB/write-offs - People engagement A typical day might include: - Strategic Leadership: Design and implement global demand, supply, and inventory strategy and execution plans. - S&OP Leadership: Drive, own, and implement an end-to-end S&OP process. - Inventory Planning & Management: Establish inventory strategies that optimize working capital. - Supplier Management: Develop and nurture relationships with key suppliers. - Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement to enhance supply chain efficiency. - Sustainability: Integrate sustainability objectives into supply chain operations. - Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks. - Data Management, Analytics & Systems: Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of planning data and analytics. - Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, inspire, and develop a US-based remote team. - Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
