If you want to work hard and create lasting positive impact, we want to hear from you. How we work - High-velocity: Rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, and minimal bureaucracy. - Impact not job titles: We don’t have job titles. Instead, it’s about the impact you have. No task is above or beneath you. - AI first: We use AI to move faster with higher-quality results. We do this across the whole company—from engineering to growth to operations. - Excellence everywhere: Everything we do should match the quality of our AI models. - Global team: We prioritize your talent, not your location. You will operate as the single point of accountability for compensation architecture across the company, partnering closely with Operations, Legal and Finance. If you’re energized by solving hard global compensation problems, building clarity across diverse markets, and designing systems that scale globally without slowing the company down, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Compensation Strategy & Philosophy - Own and continuously refine ElevenLabs’ global compensation philosophy. - Ensure pay, equity, and incentives reinforce attraction, retention, and performance. - Balance market competitiveness with internal equity and financial discipline. - Serve as a trusted advisor on complex, high-impact compensation decisions. Job Architecture & Leveling - Design systems that introduce rigor without slowing the company down. - Evolve our structure intentionally to match our scale: mature enough to support 46+ countries and a diverse set of roles, but not over-engineered or bureaucratic. - Drive clarity and consistency in job architecture, leveling frameworks, and compensation bands globally. Equity & Long-Term Incentives - Design equity programs that reflect a core ElevenLabs belief: employees should be genuine owners in the company and invested in our long-term ambition. - Own our equity philosophy, structure, and grant strategy. - Partner with Finance and Legal on equity design, refresh cycles, and promotion grants. Compensation Cycles & Governance - Assist annual compensation reviews end-to-end. - Design clear off-cycle governance and decision frameworks. - Build calibration rigor and tooling that scales globally. - Introduce AI-enabled workflows where appropriate to improve speed and consistency. - Act as the final escalation point for leveling and pay consistency decisions. Benefits & Total Rewards - Own global benefits strategy across a distributed workforce. - Balance standardisation with regional relevance. - Ensure benefits are competitive in frontier talent markets while remaining operationally scalable. What We’re Looking For Experience - 5+ years in Compensation or Total Rewards, ideally in high-growth technology companies that operate across multiple countries - Ownership of equity programs - Strong track record of building compensation systems that scale - Experience designing and evolving job architectures and leveling systems - Experience operating in fast-scaling, ambiguous environments Skills & Attributes - First-principles thinker: approach problems without bias - Hands-on builder: comfortable designing systems from scratch - Strong analytical skills: the ability to translate data into clear, strategic recommendations - Comfortable partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions in complex, fast-moving environments - Excellent communication skills - High standards and high ownership
