Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together YOUR MISSION True Anomaly is seeking a Manager of Total Rewards to shape and scale our compensation, equity, and benefits programs as the company grows. This role sits at the intersection of People Operations, Finance, and leadership decision-making, ensuring our total rewards programs are competitive, equitable, and operationally scalable. You will partner closely with People Operations to build systems, processes, and programs that support both the employee experience and the company’s long-term growth. You will lead the design and management of compensation and equity programs, while also partnering on benefits strategy and People team initiatives that improve how we attract, reward, and retain top talent in the aerospace and defense market. Success in this role requires balancing market competitiveness, internal equity, operational scalability, and regulatory compliance, while serving as a trusted partner to leadership and the broader People team. RESPONSIBILITIES Total Rewards Strategy - Design and evolve True Anomaly’s total rewards philosophy, including base pay, incentives, equity, and benefits - Partner with the Director of People and leadership team to ensure rewards programs support talent strategy, retention, and performance - Maintain competitive positioning through market benchmarking and industry analysis within aerospace, defense, and technology markets - Translate company growth strategy into scalable rewards frameworks Compensation Programs & Planning - Lead annual compensation planning cycles, including merit, promotions, bonuses, and equity refresh programs - Partner with People Business Partners and leadership on compensation decisions, promotion frameworks, and market adjustments - Develop modeling tools and analytics that support data-driven compensation decisions - Partner with Talent Acquisition on offer strategy and complex compensation scenarios Equity Program Management - Design and manage scalable equity compensation programs that balance employee value, market competitiveness, and dilution management - Partner with Finance and Legal on equity administration, grant processes, and governance - Support leadership and employees in understanding equity structures, vesting mechanics, and long-term value - Ensure equity programs evolve appropriately as the company scales Benefits Strategy & People Operations Partnership - Partner closely with People Operations to design and evolve benefits programs that support employee wellbeing and organizational growth - Collaborate on annual benefits renewals, plan design strategy, and vendor partnerships - Ensure benefits administration processes and systems are scalable and aligned with HRIS infrastructure - Support the People team in aligning total rewards programs with broader People initiatives such as workforce planning, engagement, and retention Compliance, Reporting & Governance - Ensure compliance with compensation and pay transparency regulations across jurisdictions - Lead compensation-related reporting and analyses including pay equity reviews and regulatory filings - Partner with People Operations on compensation audits and data integrity - Maintain policies and documentation related to total rewards programs QUALIFICATIONS - 7–10+ years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards - Demonstrated expertise in both cash and equity compensation programs - Experience partnering with People Operations or HRIS teams to operationalize rewards programs - Strong analytical capabilities with experience in compensation modeling and benchmarking - Deep understanding of compensation compliance including FLSA, pay transparency laws, and pay equity frameworks - Proven ability to influence leaders and partner cross-functionally in high-growth environments - Strong project management and program design capabilities PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Experience in high-growth technology, aerospace, or venture-backed companies - Familiarity with compensation survey platforms and HRIS tools (Radford, Pave, Rippling, etc.) - Experience with equity administration platforms (Carta, Shareworks, etc.) - Professional certifications such as CCP, GRP, or CEP - Experience supporting compensation programs through multiple stages of company growth COMPENSATION - Base Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 - Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education and experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Work Location: this role will be fully onsite at our Long Beach, or Centennial office, or remote, with flexibility to travel between sites regularly. - Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory. POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager, Scheduling & Referral Systems is responsible for the end-to-end design, optimization, and governance, and strategic evolution of enterprise scheduling and referral workflows that enable timely access and superior patient experience. Reporting to the Director of Access Optimization, this role serves as the Epic subject matter expert for scheduling and referral capabilities (e.g., guided scheduling, decision trees, questionnaires, routing logic, work queues) and operates as a strategic advisor to clinical, operational, ambulatory, and IT leadership. The Manager translates enterprise access strategy into scalable workflows, standards, and performance frameworks, shaping future-state referral and scheduling capabilities that support growth, digital access, equity, and evolving care models. Initially an individual contributor role with functional leadership accountability, the position is expected to assume direct people management responsibilities as the Access Optimization program scales. Position: Scheduling & Referral Systems Manager Department: Ambulatory Operations Schedule: Full Time ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: - Own and operationalize enterprise referral standards and lifecycle—from initiation and triage through scheduling, closure, and feedback loops. - Lead the design, build support, and sustainment of Epic guided scheduling tools, including questionnaires, decision trees, visit strategies, and routing logic. - Design, optimize, and govern scheduling and referral work queues: prioritization logic, staffing assumptions, SLAs, and aged-work reduction. - Define a multi-year roadmap for referral and scheduling capability maturation aligned to enterprise access, digital, equity, and growth strategies. - Serve as a strategic advisor to Access Optimization, clinical, and executive leaders on referral and scheduling design trade-offs, investment priorities, and operating models. - Design, optimize, and govern scheduling and referral work queues, including prioritization logic, staffing assumptions, SLAs, and aged-work reduction strategies. - Monitor and own enterprise performance metrics (e.g., referral turnaround time, scheduling latency, appointment conversion, leakage, abandonment) and translate insights into strategic recommendations and action plans. - Partner with IT/Digital/Patient Experience to expand consumer self-service pathways and ensure digital access aligns with enterprise standards. - Anticipate downstream impacts of new care models, service line growth, and payer strategies on referral and scheduling workflows; proactively recommend system-level solutions. - Represent Access Optimization in governance and strategic planning forums; influence system-level decisions through data-driven insights and narrative. - Lead change management for referral and scheduling standards, including communications, training, and adoption monitoring. - May assume direct people leadership responsibilities as the team and function mature. Compensation Range: $112,000.00- $162,500.00This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
