The Role We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager of Internal Communications with a strong editorial background to support our Finance, Strategy, and Marketing organizations. This role is dedicated to advancing the communications agenda for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer (CSMO). You will be instrumental in creating clear, engaging communications that connect employees and align with the strategic vision of our CFO and CSMO, ensuring messaging consistency across finance, strategy, and marketing. Leading a small internal communication team supporting these functions, you will demonstrate creativity, executive presence, effective project management, and expertise in writing, editing, and delivering content across all internal channels. The Main Responsibilities - Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create and execute internal communication plans tailored to the Finance, Strategy, and Marketing organizations, ensuring alignment with broader company goals, culture, and the visions of the CFO and CSMO. - Content Management: Write, edit, and deliver high-quality content, including emails, newsletters, organizational updates, leadership messages, presentations, and talking points for the CFO and CSMO. - Executive Communications: Collaborate closely with the CFO, CSMO, and their leadership teams to develop strategic communication materials, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging to inspire and engage the Finance, Strategy, and Marketing teams. - Quickly Learn and Embrace Leadership Voices: Adapt to and effectively reflect the unique tone, style, and strategic priorities of the CFO and CSMO in all communication deliverables. - Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to foster collaboration and motivation across Finance, Strategy, and Marketing, using communication to highlight achievements, share updates, and reinforce organizational priorities. - Feedback Mechanisms: Establish and maintain effective channels for gathering employee feedback within Finance, Strategy, and Marketing, leveraging insights to enhance communication strategies and engagement efforts. - Event Management: Develop communication content to support key events, such as quarterly business reviews, all-hands meetings, and team-building activities within Finance, Strategy, and Marketing. - Brand Consistency: Ensure all communications for Finance, Strategy, and Marketing align with the company’s brand, values, and messaging standards. - Measurement and Reporting: Track and report the effectiveness of communications using data and analytics, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement across Finance, Strategy, and Marketing. What We Look For in a Candidate - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. - 8-10 years of experience in internal communications or a similar role, ideally supporting finance, strategy, or marketing teams. - Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills with a proven ability to create impactful communications. - Experience working with senior leaders and managing executive-level communications. - Experience leading communications in Finance, Strategy, or Marketing. - Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships across teams and organizational levels. - Creative thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for storytelling. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms. Preferred Skills - Experience with graphic design and video production to enhance communications. - Knowledge of digital communication tools, such as intranets, social media, and analytics platforms. - Familiarity with finance, strategy, marketing processes, or communications focused on revenue and organizational transformation. - Experience in change management communications within finance, strategy, or marketing organizations. Compensation This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges: $129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY. $136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI. $142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
