Role Description This role involves designing, building, and optimizing our enterprise financial platforms. It requires a hands-on technical leader who combines deep accounting knowledge, OneStream and/or NetSuite development expertise, and strong API/integration capabilities. - Analyze, debug, and resolve issues within complex financial data across multiple systems and integrations. - Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and Engineering. Responsibilities - OneStream Architecture & Engineering (Primary Focus) - Architect and maintain OneStream applications, utilizing Extensible Dimensionality for complex consolidation, planning, and reporting. - Write, optimize, and maintain VB.NET Business Rules for calculations, translations, consolidations, and workflows. - Implement and extend Marketplace solutions to modernize the "Close" process. - Optimize consolidation times and query performance through efficient system design and code reviews. - NetSuite & Data Integration (Secondary Focus) - Serve as the technical owner for how financial data exits NetSuite. - Design robust data extraction methods to ensure clean data feeds into OneStream. - Build and maintain automated data pipelines between NetSuite and OneStream. - Troubleshoot complex data issues by debugging SuiteScripts or tracing SQL transformation errors. - Financial Engineering & Data Analysis - Diagnose and resolve issues related to data consistency across systems. - Replace manual Excel workarounds with system-driven logic. - Act as the translator between Engineering and Finance, converting vague accounting requirements into precise technical specifications. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in Financial Systems, with a background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering. - Deep hands-on experience with OneStream XF and proficiency in VB.NET for writing Business Rules and Member Formulas. - Strong SQL skills for analyzing large datasets, debugging transformations, and validating data integrity. - Functional knowledge of NetSuite data structures and ability to read/debug SuiteScript is highly preferred. - Solid understanding of financial consolidation, GAAP/IFRS, intercompany eliminations, and the financial close process. Requirements - Financial systems must be stable, scalable, and well-architected. - Accounting and Finance teams should rely on automation instead of manual workarounds. - Integrations must be reliable, well-documented, and easy to extend. - The role is viewed as a technical leader, not a ticket-based admin. Job Requirements
