• The Microsoft 365 Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and migration of enterprise Microsoft 365 environments for global clients. • Leads tenant-to-tenant, on-premises, and hybrid migration projects, with particular focus on messaging, identity, and collaboration workloads. • Works closely with project managers, account teams, and client stakeholders to deliver successful migrations, provide technical guidance, and support knowledge transfer throughout the engagement. • Design and implementation of migration solutions supporting corporate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures (tenant-to-tenant, on-premises, and hybrid). • Migration of user data and workloads using native Microsoft tools and/or third-party migration platforms, such as Quest On-Demand Migration (ODM), PowerSyncPro, AvePoint Fly, or similar tools. • Migration and coexistence support for Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business. • Implementation of hybrid identity and coexistence solutions, including Azure AD Connect (Entra Connect), Federated Trusts, and SSO. • Design and administration of Active Directory and Entra ID environments in support of migration projects. • Development and use of PowerShell scripts for migration automation and task automation. • Configuration and use of tenant-to-tenant migration tools such as Quest On-Demand Migration (ODM), PowerSyncPro, AvePoint or similar platforms.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, and/or Entra ID environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with tenant-to-tenant, on-premises, and hybrid migration projects, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Certification in Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) is a significant plus.
  • Quest ODM certification is preferred, not required — candidates with strong hands-on Quest ODM experience will also be considered.
  • Strong plus for demonstrated ability to work across a variety of migration platforms and tools (e.g., Quest Software, PowerSync Pro, BitTitan, native Microsoft migration tools) rather than a single toolset.
  • Experience with additional Quest tools a plus, including Quest Migration Manager for Active Directory/Exchange, Quest Content Manager for Office 365, Quest GPOADmin, Change Auditor, and Recovery Manager for AD.
  • Experience with Cross-Tenant Synchronization, Cross-Tenant Mailbox Migration, B2B Collaboration, and Microsoft Entra External Identities.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise migrations (>1,000 users).
  • Experience supporting Merges & Acquisitions and tenant consolidations.
  • Experience with PowerSync Pro or other comparable tenant-to-tenant migration platforms a plus.
  • Experience implementing hybrid coexistence solutions (Azure AD Connect, Federated Trusts, SSO).
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation of migration tasks.
  • Experience presenting solutions and migration strategy to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and communicate resolutions in a clear and concise fashion.
  • Ability to communicate deadlines and set clear expectations.
  • Ability to effectively work remotely with global, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Maintain close communication and good working relationships between sales, delivery, and product organizations.
  • Maintain a billable utilization target and ensure projects are delivered to customer satisfaction.
  • Continue to improve best practices of the engineering organization.
