Sales Development Representative

• Responsible for initiating contact with prospects and customers to sell assigned product and service categories via telephone, email, and other electronic media • Identify and qualify new business prospects and move those prospects along the sales funnel to an appropriate conclusion • Outbound lead generation and inbound lead qualification • Manage inbound leads from website, stores, campaigns, and phone inquiries • Accurately assess the customer's business, applications, and identify the best-fit RWS sales resource to follow-up on qualified opportunities • Execute qualification process to set introduction meetings with appropriate sales resources to close RWS opportunity • Identify, qualify, and deliver sales opportunities within Small Business, Mid-Market, and National/Global segments across Industrial RWfB portfolio • Respond to contact initiated by customers or prospects via telephone, email, gaining an understanding of the customers’ needs or requirements, moving the opportunity towards a sale, meeting, or other relevant outcome • Focus upon maximizing sales of RW products to existing customers by trying to cross sell or up-sell

Job Requirements

  • Experience in a related business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Either customer experience or sales environment preferred)
  • Ability to get results through influence and collaboration
  • Ability to leverage a dynamic sales process
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve specific and measurable goals
  • Possess financial and business acumen; understands the dynamics of the business
  • Strong communication and analytical skills required, including the ability to interpret challenges, and formulate pragmatic, effective recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Role Description Standard Products Fire Suppression Territory Sales Manager covering an assigned region in the Northeast including Maine and New Hampshire. This job is a remote job with up to 75% travel. - Work closely with distributors/customers actively selling to, managing, and educating accounts within assigned region. - Support existing and establish new distribution in assigned territory. - Work with end-users and other industry decision-makers regarding product features and benefits, understanding listing requirements, and other technical details. - Align with cross-functional teams to effectively manage this territory. - Define a sales strategy and assess market and distribution needs. - Responsible for fire suppression sales for Vehicle Systems, Restaurant Systems, Portables, and Industrial Systems. Qualifications - Minimum 2+ years sales experience in Fire Suppression or Fire Protection industry. - 2+ years industrial B2B sales experience. - Proficient in MS Office Platforms: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Strong leadership characteristics with a self-starter attitude. - Organizational and time management skills. - Ability to regularly travel within the assigned territory.
