Role Description The Appraisal Desk Assistant performs administrative duties for the Appraisal Department such as sending out invites to new appraisers, assisting with appraisal invoices, daily maintenance of the status dashboard, uploading documents in Encompass, and following up on outstanding documents. This position needs to possess strong communication skills and a willingness to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, team environment. - Follow up on outstanding appraiser invoices and respond to Branch request for invoices. - Upload (split) branch invoice and compliance cert in Encompass. - Upload appraiser’s invoice into the O File (Paid or Unpaid folder). - Send out invites to new appraisers. - File maintenance for new, current and past appraisers. - Monitor and follow up on expired error and omissions insurance and License reports. - Follow up on outstanding non-disclosure Agreement. - Assist with monitoring and maintaining the Status Dashboard for: orders due today, appraisers past due, and client past due. - Contact clients to follow up on missing items using strong verbal and written communications skills. - Ensure that files and items are completed and in the correct location. - Effectively communicate, work with, and build relationships with all levels of constituents including culturally and linguistically diverse staff members and external candidates and/or vendors, while operating in a fast-paced customer service driven environment.
