• Define and deliver the core platform enabling AI-native development, including the model access layer (LLMs, routing, governance), agent orchestration systems (code, test, review, deploy), prompt/specification frameworks, coding harnesses, and an internal AI marketplace • Design and implement AI-driven development systems that convert PRDs and design specs into executable workflows, enabling the automated generation of code, tests, documentation, and infrastructure • Re-architect the developer experience across the inner loop (local development, testing, iteration) and outer loop (CI/CD, deployment, release) to reduce friction in PR creation, code reviews, and validation • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design leaders to transition individual AI tool usage into standardized workflows, establishing tooling defaults, playbooks, and training to ensure active AI usage across R&D • Define and monitor the north-star metrics and own the dashboards and feedback loops that turn them into action. This role owns model-cost optimization, routing, and governance, while org-wide spend and scorecard reporting sits with Technical Operations • Build and lead a focused organization specialized in AI platform engineering, agent systems, automation, and developer experience integration • Own the human-facing developer experience alongside the agent-facing one: local development and inner-loop tooling, the Developer Portal and service catalog, core libraries and service templates, schema-first tooling, and authoritative service metadata — and establish a durable operating contract with Release Engineering for the delivery machinery underneath • Architect for optionality rather than lock-in: keep the harness layer model-agnostic, evaluate open-weight and self-hosted options, and ensure marketplace skills, plugins, and agents remain portable across models and vendors

• Design and execute OpenClaw's developer community strategy • Grow contributor participation across Foundation projects • Create onboarding experiences for developers, researchers, and maintainers • Establish community programs that encourage meaningful participation and long-term retention • Foster an inclusive and welcoming contributor culture • Develop recognition programs for contributors, ambassadors, and community leaders • Support community governance initiatives as the Foundation grows • Serve as a public advocate for OpenClaw and the broader open-agent ecosystem • Build relationships with developers, researchers, AI practitioners, and ecosystem partners • Collect community feedback and communicate insights to maintainers and Foundation leadership • Help shape project priorities based on developer needs and ecosystem trends • Represent OpenClaw at conferences, hackathons, podcasts, webinars, and industry events • Produce high-quality content that helps developers successfully build with OpenClaw • Create tutorials, technical guides, documentation, blog posts, videos, demos, webinars, case studies, newsletters • Collaborate with maintainers and researchers to translate complex technical concepts into accessible educational content • Develop contributor guides and onboarding materials • Help establish OpenClaw as the default platform for open AI agents • Cultivate relationships with startups, enterprises, academic institutions, and open-source communities • Support the development of interoperability standards and ecosystem initiatives • Identify opportunities for partnerships and community-driven collaboration • Work alongside sponsors, contributors, and industry stakeholders to strengthen the Foundation's impact • Launch and manage ambassador programs, contributor programs, community grants, mentorship initiatives, hackathons, meetups, virtual events, and working groups • Coordinate Foundation participation in major open-source, AI, and developer conferences • Support the creation of local and global community chapters • Track and improve key ecosystem metrics including active contributors, new contributor growth, contributor retention, community engagement, documentation adoption, event participation, developer satisfaction, ecosystem partnerships, open-source project adoption

• Set the editorial direction for developer content: blogs, tutorials, sample apps, video, conference talks. Then drive execution of those artifacts. • Run the launches and public moments: product launches, community highlights, success stories to ensure that Restate is highly relevant in the right conversations. • Grow and animate the community across Slack, Discord, and GitHub. Show up daily where developers are, and surface what they’re struggling with back into the team. • Partner with Restate’s founders and engineers on on docs, tutorials, and examples.
