• Set the editorial direction for developer content: blogs, tutorials, sample apps, video, conference talks. Then drive execution of those artifacts. • Run the launches and public moments: product launches, community highlights, success stories to ensure that Restate is highly relevant in the right conversations. • Grow and animate the community across Slack, Discord, and GitHub. Show up daily where developers are, and surface what they’re struggling with back into the team. • Partner with Restate’s founders and engineers on on docs, tutorials, and examples.

• Build the platforms behind agentic developer workflows • Design and build product surfaces engineers and AI agents reach for daily • Own and evolve the Cloud Development Environment (CDE) platform • Improve the build systems, CI/CD pipelines, test infrastructure, and observability • Prototype and evaluate new AI developer tools

• Leading the operations of large and small training and technical assistance (TTA) engagements to provide guidance to states, territories, cities, counties, and other entities receiving Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding • Directing cross functional teams of trainers, subject matter experts, and technical contributors, including strategizing on how to accomplish TA goals and build the capacity of TA recipients • Serving as the primary liaison with TA recipients, and maintaining clear communications with HUD • Coordinating delivery of trainings on regulatory and grant-specific requirements • Drawing on experience in housing, infrastructure, public services and economic revitalization to provide guidance to TA recipients on the design and implementation of their recovery and resilience programs • Overseeing product development work plans

Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience. - At least 7 years of relevant hands-on experience in software development. - A minimum of 2 years spent leading and managing a small development team (2-3 people), taking full ownership of projects and initiatives. - Strong understanding of core programming concepts, object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, and widely used design patterns. - Solid back-end development background with .NET (including recent versions like .NET 9/10), C#, ASP.NET Core, and REST API development. - Front-end development skills involving HTML, CSS/LESS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and single-page application (SPA) frameworks such as ReactJS and jQuery. - Database experience with SQL, covering T-SQL and platforms like SQL Server 2008+, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. - Demonstrated skill in designing, building, configuring, and testing software products from start to finish. - Able to lead a small team effectively while also thriving independently or within a team under minimal oversight. - Strong drive to keep pace with new technologies and approaches, applying them to practical projects. - English proficiency at a B2 level or above, with solid written and spoken communication abilities.
