Senior React Native Software Engineer

inKind

• Own the development of high-quality React Native applications across iOS and Android. • Improve architecture, lead React Native upgrades, and resolve complex native issues. • Work within one of inKind's product pods alongside Product Managers, Designers, QA, Backend Engineers, and fellow Mobile Engineers. • Design, build, and maintain high-performance React Native applications. • Deliver scalable, maintainable TypeScript code following engineering best practices. • Own automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. • Build reliable CI/CD pipelines that prevent regressions before release.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years building production React Native applications.
  • Experience supporting large-scale, consumer-facing mobile apps with significant production usage.
  • Experience working within established engineering organizations (typically 50+ employees with mature engineering processes including code reviews, CI/CD, and structured release management).
  • Expert knowledge of React Native architecture and performance optimization.
  • Strong TypeScript experience.
  • Strong Swift experience with the ability to build and debug native modules and bridges.
  • Kotlin or Android native development experience.
  • Experience managing React Native version upgrades, dependency updates, and native package compatibility.
  • Experience using tools such as patch-package and resolving native library conflicts.
  • Strong understanding of React state management including Redux, React Query, Zustand, or Context.
  • Experience designing and maintaining automated test suites using Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, and Postman.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience using AI development tools while maintaining strong engineering judgment.
