• Lead site visits to discover energy savings opportunities in commercial and/or industrial sites, collect information onsite needed for energy savings calculations, and present actionable and constructible measures for customer implementation. • Calculate and report out on energy and demand savings and greenhouse gas emission reductions for participant sites, consistent with the California SEM M&V Guide. • Write and inform technical documents and publications and conduct quality review of content. • Provide general project oversight and quality control/assurance and continuously inform customers and project team of updates and necessary adjustments. • Collaborate and work within a multi-disciplinary team to perform and lead technical work supporting energy efficiency programs. • Apply deep knowledge of HVAC systems and controls, including during review of Building Automation Systems both virtually and in-person, to identify opportunities. • Develop and rationalize energy savings calculation methodologies. • Apply knowledge of IPMVP options for measurement and verification. • Provide technical or strategic direction on how to improve energy saving programs, recommend innovative solutions to program and client/utility policies, and champion solutions that will advance the energy efficiency industry. • Work with technical reviewers and evaluators to qualify custom projects and defend program savings. • Effectively resolve challenges faced with clients/contractors/regulators/governing entities to address deficiencies and/or inconsistencies in calculations and/or policy adherence. • Maintain client satisfaction and develop new client relationships.

• Provide technical leadership across enterprise middleware and integration platforms. • Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. • Work closely with architects, product teams, engineers, and business stakeholders to shape technical direction, establish engineering standards, and deliver critical technology initiatives. • Combine hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership, guiding teams through complex challenges while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence. • Play a key role in solution design, technical governance, delivery oversight, and stakeholder engagement. • Ensure systems are resilient, scalable, and aligned to business objectives. • Mentor engineers and drive best practices across development, deployment, and operational processes.

• Scope, plan, and lead delivery of large-scale features and roadmap initiatives. • Clarify and refine requirements across stakeholders in a fast-moving environment. • Navigate ambiguous requirements and competing interests to deliver features that delight users. • Contribute to long-term architectural planning and system design. • Lead technical problem-solving for complex, cross-team challenges and production issues. • Continuously improve the codebase by upholding high standards for code reviews, architecture, testing, and deployment. • Ensure scalable and maintainable solutions across both frontend and backend systems. • Act as the go-to expert for debugging, troubleshooting, and system reliability. • Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to align on priorities and delivery. • Clearly communicate technical and non-technical concepts across the organization. • Participate actively in meetings, providing input that drives clarity and shared understanding. • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure features meet user and business needs. • Mentor and develop junior engineers through coaching, pairing, and feedback. • Champion engineering best practices, raising the bar for technical excellence across the team. • Model emotional intelligence and resilience, building trust and inspiring growth in others.

• Lead Value Creation Projects (3-6 months): Drive deployment and integration of solutions for specific business units, solving materially hard problems like re-platforming or creating innovative features • Lead Applications Projects (Long-term): Architect and maintain Volaris-focused applications that drive sustained value, providing ongoing support, roadmaps, and feature development • Manage and develop up to 6 team members across various projects and assignments • Design and build complex custom components, APIs, and data pipelines to fit client needs • Debug and optimize complex systems across cloud and on-prem infrastructures • Work directly with business unit technical teams to design scalable solutions • Conduct hiring interviews and participate in talent acquisition • Provide career coaching, performance feedback, and professional development for team members • Serve as the bridge between our product team and end users, influencing the roadmap through field experience • Lead technical discussions and architectural decisions across multiple projects • Occasionally travel to customer sites (as needed) for deployment or design sessions
