Role Description The Associate, Corporate Strategy & Development is a key contributor to ECRI’s strategic agenda, working in close partnership with the Executive Director of Transformation and Innovation to advance ECRI’s mission to reduce preventable harm and promote safe and effective care for all. The TI team focuses on identifying prospective client needs in new spaces and markets where ECRI can develop and provide solutions, and this role is central to driving that work forward — independently leading rigorous analysis, owning discrete workstreams end-to-end, and translating findings into actionable recommendations that shape organizational direction. - Owns a wide range of strategic activities — including long-range planning, market and competitive intelligence, business development, corporate development, and cross-organizational initiative execution. - Builds and applies deep expertise in ECRI’s business segments, target markets, and unique competencies. - High-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership. - Produces independently, structures complex problems with analytical precision, and translates financial and market intelligence into clear, executive-ready insights. - Drives toward outcomes and keeps the team informed along the way. Qualifications - 3–6 years of professional experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, transaction advisory, strategic planning, or a related analytical field. - Demonstrated experience independently leading cross-functional strategic initiatives, organizational transformation efforts, operational improvement projects, or growth-focused business initiatives. - Experience developing executive-level presentations and communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences. - Strong quantitative and critical thinking skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis. - Sound financial and business acumen with the ability to construct and communicate compelling business cases. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with attention to detail. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree required; degree in business, public health, health administration, economics, life sciences, or a related field preferred. - Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent) is a plus. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel. - Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management platforms preferred. - Familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot, preferred. - Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools preferred. - Experience with market research platforms is a strong plus.
