Azure Data Platform Support Engineer – Azure Networking, Platform Operations

Addvisor Group

• Provide support, manage, and maintain Azure data resources, including Azure SQL, Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Unity Catalog. • Monitor Azure workloads, data pipelines, reporting services, alerts, incidents, and performance bottlenecks. • Deliver Level 2/Level 3 support for data pipelines, reports, cloud services, platform incidents, and routine operations. • Implement and manage RBAC, IAM, identity policies, access controls, and compliance requirements for the platform. • Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and proactive remediation of platform issues. • Automate support and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, Python, Bash, and KQL. • Collaborate with cloud engineers, data engineers, BI developers, DevOps teams, architects, and security teams.

Job Requirements

  • Hands-on experience providing support for enterprise Data & AI platforms and Azure cloud operations.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, network troubleshooting, and security controls.
  • Ability to provide Level 2/Level 3 operational support and to act on Level 3/Level 4 escalations for platform and network incidents.
  • Familiarity with automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Git-based workflows, and observability tools.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with platform engineers, architects, data engineers, BI developers, cloud/security teams, and SREs.
  • Advanced English — India-based team.
