Forward Deployed Engineer

- Lead Client-Side Implementations: Own the end-to-end integration and deployment of the client's software solutions within their target environments, writing custom integration layers, APIs, and wrappers. - Architect Tailored Solutions: Design and build custom features, data pipelines, and platform extensions that directly address the client’s unique business workflows and technical constraints. - Act as an On-Site/On-Line Consultant: Collaborate directly with the client's internal engineering and business teams to scope technical requirements, troubleshoot complex system bottlenecks, and align on technical roadmaps. - Bridge Client and Development Teams: Translate the client’s business pain points into clear, actionable technical specifications for your core development team, ensuring seamless delivery. - Deploy & Infrastructure Management: Navigate complex enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), and hybrid systems to ensure stable, secure, and compliant software rollouts. - Rapid Prototyping: Build and deploy high-quality Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and MVPs to quickly validate technical approaches and demonstrate value to the client’s stakeholders. - Maintain Quality & Performance: Define performance budgets, set up monitoring, and establish error-tracking systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the delivered solutions. - Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct code reviews, document system architectures, and onboard the client’s internal teams to ensure a smooth hand-off of the implemented systems.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience working with big data tools, ML/AI pipelines, or data analytics platforms (e.g., Spark, Snowflake, dbt).
- 2+ years of customer-facing experience in a technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Integration Architecture).
- Deep understanding of system design, API integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex, ambiguous business requirements into robust, scalable technical architectures.
- Strong database proficiency (both SQL and NoSQL) and experience optimizing data pipelines or storage solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (C1 level is a must), with the ability to confidently present technical solutions to both developers and C-level executives.
- Nice to have skills:**
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Background in FinTech or Healthcare domain.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
