What You Bring to Cambia: Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in public administration, public health or related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in corporate philanthropy, nonprofit sector or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience and with grantmaking, impact reporting or other foundation administration preferred. Skills and Attributes: &middot; Experience in the field of corporate health-related philanthropy, behavioral health and/or health equity is preferred. &middot; Knowledge of community needs and familiarity with non-profit organizations within the four-state geographic focus area. Ability to flex to meet sudden and unpredictable community needs. &middot; Demonstrated willingness and ability to take initiative to ensure that Cambia Health Foundation remains a leader of innovative grantmaking strategies and practices. &middot; Proficiency in online grants management systems, Blackbaud platform is preferred. &middot; Proficiency in Microsoft software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat. &middot; Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired What You Will Do at Cambia: &middot; Assist in responding to funding inquiries, requests, and grant applications in accordance with Foundation procedures and contribute to making recommendations as part of the team. &middot; Provide timely, professional and prompt responses to key constituencies including grantees, potential grantees, and internal corporate stakeholders. &middot; Coordinate and organize needed resources (people, funding, materials, and other support) to assist with achieving program outcomes. &middot; Maintain current working knowledge of general heath and health-related issues, particularly related to the Foundation's priority areas, including behavioral health and equity. &middot; Serve as a resource for information about the Foundation to providers, funders, other target audiences and the community at large under the guidance of senior staff; be a point of contact for the region served by the Foundation. &middot; Provide input to and assist in developing Foundation presentation to Board of Directors. &middot; Attend regional and national conferences and stay informed of best practices in the field of corporate philanthropy and specific area of expertise, such as behavioral health and health equity. &middot; Assist staff in managing online grants management system related to program area including all grants, reports, and related documentation in coordination with program specialist and coordinator. &middot; Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential grantees and philanthropy peers in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors. &middot; Design and support grantee convenings and other Foundation-led convenings, webinar and meetings. &middot; Ability to assist in the design and implement evaluation of grant portfolio performance. &middot; Work with Strategic Communications staff to ensure philanthropic investments are properly promoted on regional and national stages via social media and other outlets. &middot; Provide content for ongoing website updates and annual reports, promoting positive brand recognition for the Foundation. Work Environment &middot; Work primarily performed in a home office. &middot; On occasion work extended hours primarily associated with specific events. &middot; Travel may be required regionally and/or nationally for division meetings or events. The current full hourly range for this temporary role is $40.00-$50.00 per hour depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location.
