Associate Director – Corporate Development, Investor Relations
Amplify Education
• Drive Amplify’s M&A and strategic partnerships strategy and execution, including sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, and transaction management. • Lead negotiations with counterpart executives, aligning deal structures with Amplify’s strategic and financial priorities. • Identify and assess new market opportunities and competitive dynamics across the EdTech landscape to inform long-term growth strategy. • Author and present investment memoranda that synthesize cross-functional insights and guide decisions by Amplify’s board and investors. • Oversee Amplify’s capital raising and investor relations activities, including investor presentations, fundraising processes, diligence, and shareholder reporting. • Partner with senior executives and investors to design and execute an enhanced investor reporting framework that elevates transparency and engagement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or management consulting
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and closing complex projects
- Strong written communication skills
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
- Direct experience working with C-level executives
