Job Description
Manager, Pricing Analytics
Cable ONE
• Provides targeted pricing guidance by market, geography and consumer segment. • Helps the business achieve sales, revenue and other objectives by identifying and executing pricing strategies and actions aligned with overall business strategy and informed by operational capabilities. • Advises the business on and implements pricing, packaging and monetization strategies for products and services • Forward thinker able to produce/enhance forward looking business cases and volume/revenue models • Maintains logic, algorithms, methodologies and reporting related to the pricing health of the business • Collaborates with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Data Analysis and other teams on pricing models, logic, algorithms, value analytics and pricing / discounting guidelines • Develops standardized reporting/quantitative outputs
Job Requirements
- 3+ Years experience
- BA Degree or equivalent years of experience
- Demonstrates highly developed knowledge, understanding and application of the skill
- Able to assist, consult, coach, teach or lead others in the application of the skill.
- Can apply knowledge outside the scope of one’s position
- Achievement of this proficiency level requires significant experience and expertise
- Able to ‘build from scratch’ as well as improve inherited workstreams
- Understanding of the impact of strategic pricing recommendations
- Recommends pricing strategies that portray value, drive customer purchasing decisions and instill confidence in company products and services
- Experienced and comfortable engaging leadership
- Fast learner, comfortable creating new processes and improving existing processes
- Subscription business experience strongly preferred
- Telecom/broadband/mobile industry experience helpful but not required
- May utilize AI/software assistance but is not dependent on it
