• The Manager, Cloud Engineering, will continuously collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to solve critical technical problems for Allergan Aesthetics. • You will be a hands-on leader of the foundational engineering team driving our system/service reliability, scale, and developer productivity. • In this dual-focus leadership role, you will bridge the gap between keeping our production environment highly resilient and ensuring our internal software developers have friction-free, high-speed tools and pipelines. • You will lead a talented team of engineers who build scalable infrastructure, standardize developer tooling, reduce toil, and foster a culture of operational excellence across the entire engineering organization. • Manage, lead, hire, develop and mentor a team of Platform Engineers to deliver high-quality infrastructure and developer solutions that are secure, resilient, and scalable. • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning. • Create and recommend professional learning paths for direct reports Conceptualize and execute technical approaches for emerging systems and architecture. • Implement, through the team, the high bar of quality and standards for production reliability and the developer experience. • Act as the key point of contact between your team and other stakeholders and partner teams. • Lead the adoption and maturation of SRE practices across the organization, partnering with service owners to improve production reliability. • Define and champion SLO/SLI frameworks and error budget-based decision making to drive prioritization between reliability and feature work. • Lead the strategy for internal developer platform capabilities — influence self-service infrastructure, developer tooling, and deployment patterns that improve velocity and reduce toil for product teams. • Responsible for team capacity planning and staffing allocation activities to ensure sufficient staffing for current and future needs. • Plan, staff and support on-call rotation. Manage robust incident response and resolution, capture corrective and preventative actions and continuous improvements.

• Design and implement RAG-based architectures using Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search. • Develop backend APIs and services to support GenAI applications. • Architect and deploy Azure serverless solutions (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Container Apps). • Build scalable data pipelines for indexing, embedding, and retrieval workflows. • Implement CI/CD pipelines for AI systems using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. • Define and implement system architecture ensuring performance, scalability, and high availability. • Apply infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep. • Collaborate with frontend, data, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end GenAI solutions. • Enforce security, governance, and compliance best practices.

• Build and maintain mobile application features, primarily using Flutter. • Contribute across the full stack, including mobile, frontend, backend, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and integrations. • Design, develop, and maintain backend infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform and Firebase. • Build robust server-side logic using Node.js and Cloud Functions in a serverless architecture. • Model, manage, and optimize Firestore databases for performance, reliability, and scalability. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. • Collaborate closely with developers, QA, product, and design teams to deliver high-quality features end to end. • Partner with product to define technical solutions that are scalable, pragmatic, and aligned with business goals. • Coordinate implementation across mobile, frontend, backend, and QA dependencies. • Support deployments and help ensure smooth delivery across environments. • Monitor, debug, and improve system performance, reliability, observability, and error handling. • Investigate production issues and contribute to durable fixes. • Contribute to improving engineering practices, tooling, documentation, and overall development velocity. • Use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate development, improve documentation, explore solutions, and support maintainable system design.

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructures using AWS. • Manage and optimize AWS resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain infrastructure health. • Develop and maintain automation scripts (IaC) for infrastructure management. • Ensure data security and compliance with security policies and regulations. • Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the cloud infrastructure. • Perform troubleshooting and incident resolution in production environments. • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies. • Build a solid knowledge base on AWS Cloud Services and the cloud ecosystem. • Educate clients of all sizes about the value proposition of Cloud Services. • Attend training sessions for clients who are considering or are already using AWS. • Collaborate with experienced cloud engineers to design and share knowledge of best practices among the AWS community.
