• Own end-to-end architecture and delivery of complex backend and platform solutions. • Design, build, and operate distributed systems using modern engineering practices and cloud-native technologies. • Drive technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices. • Collaborate closely with global stakeholders, including North America and KL DataHub teams. • Lead incident resolution, postmortems, and continuous improvement of reliability and observability. • Promote high standards in testing and CI/CD pipelines. • Mentor and support engineers, strengthening technical skills and fostering knowledge sharing. • Ensure security-by-design principles and proactively address vulnerabilities.

• Build and ship the web application across frontend and backend, from UI components to APIs and data models • Design and implement a responsive, real-time conversational interface (React, WebSockets/SSE) • Develop backend services: authentication, session management, data persistence, and third-party integrations • Integrate AI and multi-agent services into the product in partnership with the AI Engineer • Design and maintain databases and API contracts that scale with product complexity • Own performance, reliability, and security across the stack • Translate product and design requirements into well-tested, maintainable features • Move fast in an early-stage environment, balancing speed with quality

• Design, develop, and implement new algorithms and tools within our monitoring software platform • Conduct routine and non-routine testing on existing algorithms to identify bugs and areas for optimization • Document algorithm implementation, user requirements, and specifications • Follow established patterns and build upon existing models • Apply structured, scientific problem-solving approaches to technical challenges • Contribute to the understanding and implementation of complex system designs • Estimate time required to complete familiar tasks and projects accurately • Communicate effectively and collaborate well within a team environment • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams through clear communication and strong interpersonal skills • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team knowledge sharing • Use version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools as part of the development workflow

• Lead infrastructure upgrades and modernization efforts, including migrating Snapsheet's Ruby on Rails applications to current and supported versions. • Identify and resolve technical debt, improving system stability, performance, and long-term maintainability. • Contribute to technical design processes and provide improvement suggestions and feedback. • Work in an agile environment and participate in weekly stand-ups, retrospectives, etc. • Proactively challenge scopes, flag issues, and suggest alternatives. • Collaborate with other engineers, product management, and design to identify and solve complex problems.
