Training Operations Supervisor – 1st Shift
GXO Logistics, Inc.
• Oversee the activities of the department and its instructors in training members of the Operations team • Maintain Kronos time records for direct reports • Attend and audit new hire classes and follow up with department supervisors on customer satisfaction • Handle Quality Management System (QMS) floor training using Floor Training Tracker • Conduct needs assessments with department supervisors; evaluate training materials, recommend improvements and serve as a training instructor when necessary • Generate special reports from the Employee Training Database and timekeeping system • Organize and execute a process for maintaining, filing and storing all training records; enter paper records into electronic format in the database to ensure compliance in the Records Retention Matrix • Energize the QMS training process by generating and distributing required training rosters and sign-off sheets, ensuring compliance with QMS training requirements • Organize and maintain the supporting organizational structure in the Employee Training Database (employees, roles and associated QMS training requirements) to reflect the quality training requirements of the organization
Job Requirements
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems
- Ability to adhere to the 7S program
- Proven ability to maintain a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices and following safety practices
- Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role with supervisory responsibilities (preferred)
- Experience working in an ISO environment (preferred)
- Demonstrated understanding of the Supply Chain Quality Policy and a commitment to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient and accurate use of the processes
- Effective organizational and leadership skills; able to use a variety of interpersonal styles and communication methods to effectively adapt to new work structures, processes or cultures
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally

• responsible for maximizing the conversion of customer sales into completed installations • lead the end-to-end operational performance of Brightspeed's order fulfillment process • own the critical operational metrics and cross-functional execution required to improve install conversion, reduce cancellations, optimize installation capacity, and eliminate friction throughout the order-to-install journey • establish operational governance, lead cross-functional 'War Room' initiatives, and leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve fulfillment efficiency and installation success • develop executive-level performance dashboards and operational scorecards
• Own cloud cost reporting across GCP and AWS — weekly, monthly, and ad hoc dashboards for engineering and business stakeholders • Drive cost optimisation: rightsizing, committed use discounts (CUDs / RIs), idle resource cleanup, storage lifecycle policies, and network egress reduction • Design and enforce a cloud tagging strategy — define taxonomy, automate compliance checks, and resolve untagged resources • Build showback and chargeback models so teams understand and are accountable for their spend • Lead monthly FinOps review meetings — present spend trends, highlight anomalies, explain variances, and recommend actions • Set up and maintain budget alerts, anomaly detection, and forecasting models • Partner with product and engineering to embed cost awareness early in architecture and feature design • Support day-to-day cloud operations on GCP and AWS: incident response, monitoring hygiene, and infrastructure health reviews • Contribute to Datadog observability — dashboards, monitors, and alert tuning, particularly for cost-correlated signals • Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews with a cost lens on RCA • Work with platform and SRE teams on Kubernetes cluster efficiency — node utilisation, autoscaling, and namespace-level cost attribution
• Plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. • Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations. • Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports. • Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful production operations. • Determines labor needs to meet production goals. • Assists with budget preparation for operations unit. • Performs other related duties as required.
