Principal Global Compensation Manager

WP Engine

• Develop, evolve, and lead the company’s global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies, aligning them directly with business objectives and high-tech market trends. • Act as the primary champion and architect for global pay transparency readiness (including the EU Pay Transparency Directive and US state laws), designing sustainable structures that build internal trust and ensure compliance. • Oversee the strategic direction and execution of the annual global merit, promotion, and equity refresh cycles, ensuring alignment with finance budgets and company performance within Workday utilizing the Advanced compensation module. • Support executive compensation design and equity modeling for new hires and refresh cycles in partnership with the Sr Director, Total Rewards. • Lead the design and evolution of our global job architecture, leveling frameworks, and geographic salary structures to support a highly distributed virtual first model. • Serve as the key strategic advisor to EE Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and senior executive leaders on high-impact compensation decisions, organizational design, offer evaluation, and critical talent retention. • Drive compensation due diligence and post-merger integration strategies, ensuring newly acquired talent is seamlessly mapped to existing structures.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive compensation experience within the high-tech/SaaS industry, with at least 3 years in a lead advisory capacity
  • Workday SuperUser: Hands-on configuration experience in Workday Advanced Compensation.
  • Global Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of global compensation structures, international market dynamics, and complex regulatory environments.
  • Strategic Modeling: Master-level compensation modeling, data analysis, and financial planning skills using advanced modeling tools.
  • Influence & Collaboration: Proven capability to influence, consult with, and present to executive-level leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Preferred Skills: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation. Experience leading compensation strategies with private equity firms. Experience in benefit modules of Workday to support the broader Total Rewards team. Low-Code/No-Code Automation: Proven experience building automated workflows using accessible enterprise tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude, etc). AI Agent Configuration: Hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying custom AI assistants or GPTs to automate information retrieval or text generation tasks.

Role Description Power your future with Qualus in our Program Management department as a Construction Manager. The Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring that constructability meets Qualus and our client expectations of quality for each assigned project, to ensure compliance within required construction codes, local jurisdictional requirements, budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. Employees in this role coordinate and manage substation and transmission line Interconnection projects in and around the Dorchester/Boston, Massachusetts area. Work will be centered around tying in renewables power generation into the transmission grid through substations. - Aggressively manages and inspects the day-to-day activities of multiple electric contractor crews, for substation and transmission line project work. - Facilitates the installation of electric infrastructure and ensures that all safety standards, company construction standards, company specifications and governmental regulations are met. - Manages work to ensure that all performance objectives for cycle time and cost are on target. - Oversees and directs contractors performing electric cable installations and electric cut-ins. - Makes the proper notification to all federal, state and local agencies before, during and after construction as required. - Prior to commencement of construction, coordinates with customer(s) at the jobsite to determine specific customer requirements, construction sequencing and provides site readiness verification. - Maintains frequent and regular contact with contractor supervision regarding job performance and documents results appropriately. - Knowledgeable about distribution contracts. - Ensures that the terms and conditions of the contract and technical specifications are met. - Verifies key unit quantities. - Makes the necessary field decisions regarding job changes and communicates them as necessary to the Supervisor and Program or Project Manager; documents all job changes to ensure compliance and ensures the updates get documented in the appropriate information technology systems. - Schedules and coordinates all required electric system outages. - Performs weekly safety audits of crews and documents performance in the Asset Suite Safety Audit/Observation Tool. - Coordinates permit and work-with requirements with third party utilities and permit agencies. - Reviews and approves all documents submitted by the contractor verifying the accuracy and completeness of the documentation. - Regularly communicates job status to the appropriate parties to facilitate scheduling commitments. - Maintains customer coordination during construction phase and conducts job walk-down with customer and contractor at job completion. - Performs storm duty assignments as needed. - Reports to service center, jobsite, or remote location.
