• Lead the design and implementation of groundbreaking web experiences, translating mobile features to the web with world-class UX. • Drive technical strategy, define engineering standards/best practices, mentor engineers, and establish the technical vision for the web platform. • Manage technical debt, champion code quality, and lead architectural evolution. • Design, modify, and develop backend services that power web products, ensuring systems scale and championing system reliability, performance, and observability.
Job Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership
- Deep expertise in React/Next.js/Remix
- Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services with Node.js/TypeScript/Kotlin
- Experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD.

Role Description GovCIO is currently seeking React/Redux Frontend Developers to join a cross-functional team dedicated to delivering impactful features on VA.gov. This pivotal role will support achievement of development objectives across different customer products to ensure timely and efficient feature rollouts.
