Role Description The BSA Specialist supports the Bank's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and related financial crimes compliance programs through monitoring, review, research, and regulatory reporting activities. The BSA Specialist is responsible for reviewing alerts, referrals, customer due diligence requirements, watchlist and sanctions monitoring, and other financial crimes detection activities to identify unusual or suspicious activity requiring additional review. The Specialist gathers information, performs research, documents findings, and escalates matters requiring formal investigation. This position also assists with fraud prevention and fraud operations activities as assigned and helps ensure the Bank maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures while protecting the Bank and its customers from financial crime. Qualifications - BSA Specialist I: Two (2) years of banking, fraud, compliance, operations, audit, investigations, customer service, or related experience preferred. - Experience with BSA-related programs or case building applications. - Proficiency with standard computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills. - Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and with a team. - Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks. - BSA Specialist II: Minimum three (3) years of banking, BSA/AML, fraud, compliance, operations, audit, investigations, or related experience preferred. - Strong understanding of BSA/AML, OFAC, CDD, EDD, and financial crime risk concepts. - Experience reviewing customer activity, due diligence requirements, alerts, or regulatory reporting. - Demonstrated ability to independently perform EDD reviews and complex alert analysis. Requirements - Review and disposition transaction monitoring alerts generated through Verafin and other Bank systems. - Review Customer Due Diligence (CDD) alerts and obtain, analyze, and document customer information necessary to support customer risk assessments. - Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews and recommend escalation of higher-risk or more complex customer relationships. - Review OFAC, watchlist, sanctions screening, negative news, and other risk-monitoring alerts in accordance with established procedures. - Review customer activity, account relationships, and transactional behavior to identify unusual activity, elevated risk, or information requiring additional review. - Obtain and document information from customers, business units, public records, and internal systems necessary to support due diligence and monitoring requirements. - Prepare and file Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. - Open cases and escalate activity requiring formal investigation based on monitoring results, due diligence reviews, referrals, customer activity, or other identified concerns. - Document alert reviews, due diligence reviews, referrals, findings, and recommendations in accordance with department procedures. - Assist with maintenance of customer risk ratings, high-risk customer records, and periodic review requirements. - Respond to BSA-related inquiries and provide support to business units regarding due diligence, monitoring requirements, and financial crimes compliance procedures. - Identify unusual activity patterns, emerging risks, or opportunities for process improvements and communicate recommendations to management. - Maintain complete, accurate, and timely records in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bank procedures. - Maintain regular and predictable attendance. - In addition to performing all BSA Specialist I responsibilities, a BSA Specialist II is expected to: - Handle a larger volume of alert reviews and due diligence reviews. - Review more complex customer relationships and account activity. - Conduct more advanced EDD reviews. - Perform more extensive pre-investigation research prior to case escalation. - Provide guidance and assistance to BSA Specialist I employees. - Assist with training, onboarding, and process coaching. - Exercise greater independent judgment in alert disposition, risk identification, and escalation decisions. - Serve as a departmental resource for regulatory monitoring requirements and due diligence processes. • Own End-to-End Delivery: Take a production LLM agent from requirement to production deploy, and defend the architecture and trade-offs directly with the client. • Agent Orchestration: Build and harden orchestration (LangGraph / LangChain or equivalent) — routing, tool-calling, planning, synthesis, and state management. • Tool & Retrieval Integration: Integrate tools over MCP and keep a growing tool surface fast and correct, including BM25, hybrid, or vector retrieval as scale demands. • AWS Bedrock & AgentCore: Run models on Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore — model selection/routing, guardrails, memory, and regional residency profiles. • Evaluation & Observability: Build the eval harness (golden sets, LLM-as-judge, quality gates wired into CI) and instrument the system with OpenTelemetry for per-session token, cost, and latency attribution. • Cost, Latency & Resilience: Drive down cost and latency with real levers (model routing, prompt caching, payload pruning, parallelizing independent calls) behind a regression gate, and build in circuit breakers, fallbacks, and dead-letter handling. • Safe Write-Actions: Design and stage write-actions with least-privilege permissions, human-in-the-loop approval, plan versioning, audit trail, and rollback — released behind feature flags to a small cohort first.

• Serve as chief project engineer or senior technical lead for large, multi-phase, or multi-contract defense and aerospace programs • Define and guide system architecture, integration, and verification strategies aligned with customer and mission objectives • Oversee engineering execution across multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and major subcontractors, ensuring technical, cost, and schedule compliance • Lead technical baseline definition, configuration management, and system integration planning • Chair or provide executive-level support for major design and integration reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and ensure readiness and compliance with technical performance metrics • Serve as the primary engineering interface to executive management and DoD customers, supporting technical interchange meetings and milestone reviews • Manage and approve Statements of Work (SOWs), subcontractor technical deliverables, and major supplier design inputs • Develop and implement advanced risk and opportunity management frameworks across enterprise-level programs • Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical oversight to project engineers and functional leads • Support proposal development, cost estimation, and new business capture activities • Guide and enforce adherence to systems engineering standards, model-based engineering practices, and configuration control • Drive organizational engineering process improvements, knowledge management, and best practices

• Verify that code, technical activities and model solutions run successfully from end to end in the approved target environment before progressing to formal content and academic review • Test integrations between learning storyboards, externally developed code, repositories, learner environments and the Canvas learning management system • Identify technical gaps, dependency issues and failure points where learning content, code and platform components connect • Set up and maintain learner repositories, environment configurations, API connections and supporting developer tooling across cohorts • Ensure learner environments remain stable, reproducible and appropriately version-controlled throughout development and live delivery • Define clear technical acceptance criteria for work produced by external technical contributors and review outputs against those standards • Provide front-line technical support to learners during live delivery, diagnosing and resolving environment, code and integration issues in real time • Respond rapidly to technical incidents during delivery windows so that learning sessions can continue with minimal disruption • Coach Learning Experience Designers and other non-technical colleagues to use Git, AI-assisted workflows and developer environments confidently in their day-to-day work • Build lightweight internal automations and AI-assisted routines that reduce repetitive testing, validation and build activities • Contribute practical technical input into decisions about portfolio publishing, development environments and other elements of the learning technology stack
