APAC Senior Operations Manager

Role Description We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager (APAC) to lead the production and product development transformation strategy in China — ensuring efficiency, quality, and standardization across the product lifecycle. - Lead APAC Operations: Oversee Production, Product Development, Quality, and Sourcing teams, ensuring alignment with Trafilea's operational framework, SOPs, and transformation initiatives. - Drive supplier performance and strategic sourcing: Build strong relationships with factories, negotiate cost reductions, improve production reliability, and expand the supplier network across China and APAC. - Standardize and optimize operational processes: Implement production manuals, quality standards, reporting routines, compliance audits, and best practices across the full product lifecycle. - Champion AI adoption and automation: Integrate AI tools into Product Development, Production, and Quality workflows to improve reporting, sample management, Tech Pack validation, SOP compliance, and overall team productivity. - Lead cross-functional execution: Partner with teams across China, LATAM, and the US to improve communication, strengthen operational governance, accelerate production transformation, and ensure consistent execution across global operations. - Develop high-performing teams: Coach managers, establish performance metrics, drive accountability, and build a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and disciplined execution. Qualifications - A senior apparel operations leader with 7–10+ years of experience managing Product Development, Production, Quality, and Sourcing in China/APAC. - Experience in factory optimization, supplier negotiations, operational transformation, SOP implementation, and AI-driven process improvements in a fast-paced global organization. - 7–10+ years of experience in apparel production, manufacturing, or operations, with ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle. - Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams across Product Development, Production, Quality, and Sourcing in a fast-paced environment. - Strong factory and supplier management experience, including vendor negotiations, cost optimization, production planning, and supplier performance improvement in China/APAC. - Proven project and change management skills, with experience implementing SOPs, process improvements, operational governance, and production transformation initiatives. - Hands-on experience with AI tools, workflow automation, and operational reporting, including platforms such as Asana and Slack to drive efficiency and execution. - Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams and build strong relationships with Chinese factories and international stakeholders.
