Technical Services Consultant – Data Centers
Veralto
• Supporting field and corporate sales teams with plant surveys, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and customer engagements. • Providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, onsite training, and equipment inspections (including confined‑space environments). • Collaborating with R&D to support new product development, application innovation, and case study creation. • Supporting customers’ KPI objectives and developing sustainability projects focused on water and energy optimization. • Delivering technical expertise in cooling systems—closed loops, direct‑to‑chip technology cooling, facility water systems, chiller operations, evaporative cooling towers, and more. • Travel approximately 60% of the time through United States, Canada and Mexico.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biological science, chemistry, engineering, or a related field OR 10+ years of water treatment field experience.
- 10+ years’ experience with a major water treatment company or with organizations that support Data Center Customers water related footprint or have been responsible for data center cooling applications.
- Technical and in-depth knowledge in Cooling Applications, including critical closed loops such as Direct to Chip Cooling, Technology Cooling Systems ( AKA TCS Loops), and Facility Water Systems (FWS), Open Evaporative Cooling Systems such as Adiabatic and conventional cooling towers.
- Experience conducting field troubleshooting, system inspections, and pre-operational cleaning/passivation.
- Ability to travel approximately 60% across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
