Job Description

Communications Manager

Huzzle

Role Description We are seeking a high-velocity, "scrappy," and deeply experienced Communications Manager to own our global narrative. This is not a typical corporate PR role—there are no agencies to manage and no "fluff" to hide behind. You will be responsible for building direct relationships with Tier-1 tech journalists, ghostwriting for our executive team, and scaling our Share of Voice across North America and Europe. This is a role for a hands-on executor who thrives in a lean startup environment and knows exactly how to get a story picked up by TechCrunch or Forbes through sheer grit and creative pitching. Key Responsibilities - Organic Media Relations: Execute high-impact, direct pitching to Tier-1 and tech-specific media outlets to secure organic placements. - Executive Thought Leadership: Act as a ghostwriter and narrative architect for founders, developing high-signal content for LinkedIn, newsletters, and industry publications. - Content Distribution: Build and manage AI-assisted workflows to repurpose core insights into LinkedIn carousels, threads, and high-velocity distribution assets. - Brand Monitoring: Actively track brand mentions and industry trends to identify "newsjacking" opportunities and keep the team at the center of the global tech conversation. - Strategic Growth: Expand the company’s Share of Voice (SoV) in the US and EU markets, moving beyond traditional PR into modern GTM channels like podcasts and interactive newsletters. - Proven Media Track Record: A documented history of securing organic placements in Tier-1 global tech media (e.g., TechCrunch, Forbes, Wired, VentureBeat). - Exceptional Narrative Skills: Advanced (C1/C2) English proficiency with the ability to capture a founder’s voice and transform complex tech topics into compelling stories. - Scrappy Execution: 100% autonomy and the ability to deliver massive results without the support of external agencies or large advertising budgets. - Technical Proficiency: Professional experience with media databases (Muck Rack, Prowly), LinkedIn automation, and advanced AI-assisted content tools. - Startup Mindset: A proactive, direct, and outcome-oriented personality that thrives in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment. Qualifications - Experience launching or scaling high-growth B2B SaaS or tech marketplaces in the US market. - A background in modern GTM strategies, including executive personal branding and podcast guesting. - Experience transitioning traditional PR functions into data-driven, automated content machines. Benefits - Competitive salary - Fully remote work environment - Career growth opportunities to own and scale the global communications function - Flexible working hours with a focus on results over desk time - High autonomy with minimal corporate bureaucracy - Long-term stability in a fast-growing, established tech company
