• Own the end-to-end engineering lifecycle for web platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, and SLA compliance across environments. • Set technical strategy and roadmap in partnership with product and business leaders, prioritizing modernization, performance, and customer experience outcomes – based on experience with modern design best practices. • Drive agile delivery and financial discipline to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget. • Own the overall design for integrations and oversee new backend systems and infrastructure. • Establish and oversee the engineering operating model. • Provide leadership to contracted developers and technical resources. • Work with internal and external partners to develop a new modern, secure and scalable architecture for a new portal platform. • Step into technical problem solving during critical incidents or escalations as needed. • Represent web technology in executive forums, communicating progress, risks, and opportunities while influencing enterprise digital strategy.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within engineering or IT organizations focused on digital platforms and customer experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and / or military experience
- Expertise in large-scale web platform architecture, performance optimization, and site reliability engineering.
- Demonstrated experience shaping long-term technology strategy and aligning engineering investments to business goals.
- Demonstrated experience leading successful software development lifecycle execution across modern web technologies and agile methodologies.
