• Lead and oversee procurement activities for major energy storage projects worldwide • Manage project teams throughout all stages to ensure supply needs are met promptly • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities • Manage vendor selection, conduct supplier audits, and negotiate contracts • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for BESS components • Track and report on procurement performance metrics • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department • Prepare regular procurement reports and dashboards for senior management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • At least 3 years in the energy storage or renewable energy sector
  • Strong understanding of the BESS industry, including components and suppliers
  • Proven track record in supplier negotiations, cost management, and strategic sourcing
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
  • Familiarity with procurement tools and ERP systems
  • Technical understanding of battery storage systems or energy-related technologies is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing procurement challenges
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and regulatory requirements in the energy and storage sectors
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
